HM [player_tooltip player_id='815659' first='Maia' last='Melendez']
I think Woodbridge will be one of the most improved teams in NOVA record-wise next year. Maia is one half of a Woodbridge backcourt that does a lot of the same things. Maia is a great defender and understands the game well. Maia averaged 14 PPG, and while she had problems with her efficiency, I still think she can affect the game highly as a scorer.

HM [player_tooltip player_id='747629' first='Courtney' last='Breland']
I had a hard time leaving [player_tooltip player_id='747629' first='Courtney' last='Breland'] off my starters because she is a fantastic player for Hayfield. Courtney is a three-level scorer and a fantastic defender. Courtney is strong as a two-guard, and she uses her strength well against smaller guards. Courtney was an all-district second-team selection.

HM [player_tooltip player_id='786440' first='Janey' last='Salinas']
[player_tooltip player_id='786440' first='Janey' last='Salinas'] was one of the best bench players in the state this year, and her not starting speaks volumes to the quality state final winners Osbourn Park has. Janey was the leading scorer in the OP state title win, and she was pivotal to them all year. Janey is a terrific spot-up shooter with terrific size for a two-guard. Janey can handle the ball when asked of her, and she is a great passer. Janey would undoubtedly be a starter on this list and on her team if she was in a less talented program. She is one of the best guards in the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='749391' first='Payton' last='Walters'] was part of a loaded backcourt for Osbourn Park.
