At 5’11”, she presents matchup problems with her ability to score at all three levels while handling guard responsibilities. She plays with confidence and physicality, attacking gaps off the bounce and finishing through contact. Her versatility allows the Wolverines to run offense through her in both half-court and transition situations.

May Marsh May Marsh May Marsh 5'11" | SG/CG Woodgrove | 2027 State VA took over the majority of the ball handling and shot creation duties, and she did an excellent job. May didn’t have a great day hitting jump shots, but she did a nice job getting to the rim. She got the better of star forward Alyssa Stanford Alyssa Stanford Alyssa Stanford 5'11" | PF/SF Heritage-Leesburg | 2026 State VA several times on the offensive end, finishing or driving by her several times. Her vision was great, too, finding cutters and open shooters.

May Marsh May Marsh May Marsh 5'11" | SG/CG Woodgrove | 2027 State VA is one of the more underrated players in the area. May has nice size for a G/W, and she is an outstanding shooter. May was impactful last year in Woodgrove’s state title run, but she really stepped up her game this year. She was a first-team all-district selection and a second-team all-state selection.

Another Woodgrove player who is a little underrated is May Marsh May Marsh May Marsh 5'11" | SG/CG Woodgrove | 2027 State VA . May has great length for a guard and is a knockdown shooter. May can play wing, and she will mix it up on the boards when she needs to. May put up some nice numbers as a Sophomore and was first-team all-district.

Woodgrove faced off with Broad Run this week in a matchup I was excited for. Both of these teams have a lot of weapons on offense and can score. May is a two-guard with good size for the position. She is a terrific three-point shooter but does a good job attacking the rim. May moves without the ball well and can mix it up in the paint. May had 28 in an 8-point win over Broad Run.
