The versatility shows in her offensive game. Started the game at the 4 spot scoring around the rim with nice footwork and finishing. Bumped out on offense to show the 3 guard spot. Moved without the ball getting open for the outside shot or cutting backdoor. Good handles will the ball helping relieve the pressure while having the height to throw over the press.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On defense she was long and quick enough to guard outside the arch. Low stance with arms made if difficult to get downhill on her. On the fastbreak she pushed the ball up the floor looking for a lane to shoot throught to finish at the rim. Great handles at the point spot with the pocket dribble and first drop step to turn the corner and attack the paint. Active hands on the ball stealing several weak crossovers for the steal. As the point guard she showed great pat entice reading the defense getting her team in the right sets. Good communication skills to her coach and team a quality you want from the point. Great vision in the half court set as well as the open floor able to get the pass through the gaps. Nice defense defending the passing lane that lead to several steals. Showed a very strong scoring skill set with mid range jump shots and explosive first step getting her to the rim. A strong finisher at the rim going through the contact for the old school 3 point play. Good instincts on defending the next pass creating steals and layup for her team. Moved very well without he ball cutting to the rim for a backdoor layups. Showed a nice inside out game by hitting the outside shot on the drive and kick. Good handles when going downhill being aggressive and taking care of the ball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On defense she is long and showed great timing on the block shot avoiding the foul. Listed and physical enough to play the power forward but has the footwork to cover the 3 guard. A first time watching her play and look forward to seeing her late on during the summer. Listed as a shooting guard and I would say she backed it up on the game I was able to watch her play. She started off the game nailing 2 from deep and a layup out scoring the other team 8-0.
