<p><br>In this article, we look at more talented prospects from the Demetrius Richardson Showcase. The 8th - 10th grade game was the most competitive game of the day and was decided in overtime by a three-point shot by [player_tooltip player_id='400813' first='Asiana' last='McCreary']. The players on this list range from polished players to rising stars. They all were eye catchers during the 8th - 10th grade scrimmage. Several prospects were Sophomores, but the majority of the standout players were Freshmen.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='873946' first='Zakharia' last='Rutledge'] (2027) was an impressive young player and is just touching the surface of how good she can be. Rutledge is athletic with quickness and amazing leaps. Rutledge had sweet rip to the midrange and a few putbacks on the offensive rebounds and some nice takes to the rim. Even her misses looked good. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='721483' first='Gabriela' last='Buigues'] (2027) has a nice three point shot and handles the ball very well. Defensively, Buigues runs the floor well and gets back on defense quickly. she is also a strong ball defender. Buiges was a standout performer who immediately caught our eye. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='766031' first='Bryce' last='Cherry']. Was extremely active and at 6'1 she immediately presented a challenge on both ends of the floor. Cherry was relentless Cherry rebounds the ball well and had some quality moves on the inside. The 6'1 forward Cherry runs the floor very well and made an impression on both sides of the floor.</p>

<p>Christina Buigues shot the ball well during the the 8th - 10th grade game. She does a good job of setting up for the shot and has a nice stroke from the outside. Buigues also did a good job of handling the ball and advancing the ball with the vertical pass.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1219107' first='Hannah' last='Caneus'] owned the glass pulling down rebound after rebound. The Freshman forward was strong on the inside, and she had some conversions on the inside (with power). The young forward showed a few advanced moves, including a head fake and step through conversion. Caneus was a versatile defender who was defending her opponent well on the inside as well as on the perimeter on the wing and then ruling the boards on the inside. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1219110' first='Demi' last='Reck'] (2028) was very active on the floor and is a player who plays with a lot of energy. Reck has good size and gets after it on both sides of the ball. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1219103' first='Xylia' last='Rosario'] was a solid player and caught my eye with her ability to impact the game from defense and rebound positions on the floor. Rosario also showcased her ability to score. She is athletic, has good footwork, and can score on the inside. She runs floor well and is a versatile defender who can cover guards and forwards. </p>

<p> [player_tooltip player_id='1219109' first='Camila' last='Gotay'] was active on the boards sides of the floor. Gotay did a good job of handling the ball and has a nice change of direction. Gotay is shifty and can create space for the step back three. </p>
