Mahlaysia has very fluid mechanics on her jump shot. Sets her feet well with a compact release and nice follow-through. Mahlaysia's length and high release point translate to the next level in terms of getting her shot off. She can shoot off-the-dribble and off-the-catch. The potential is off the charts! Would love to see her be more aggressive going forward.

Knockdown shooter who's done it against some of the nation's best. Chasity hit huge shots throughout the entire playoffs and propelled Etiwanda to a 3peat. Can spot up on the wing or pull up from the top of the key. Great arc on her jumper. Special as an on-ball defender. Chasity plays with toughness and passion. She could easily average 25+ on a less-talented roster with a higher usage rate. Expect the young sophomore to rise up the ranks fairly quickly and build upon her elite 2025 postseason.

Great length and growing confidence make Daisy a top commodity at the next level.

As predicted, Lauren went off yet again for 35 points and 8 threes in the NorCal Division VI state title! Faith Christian prevailed 58-53 vs. Cornerstone Christian to take home the trophy. Lauren has been a well-known shooter since her freshman year, but the efficiency is now catching up to the volume. 24 made threes in the state tournament on a remarkable 46.1%! Given the difficulty of her threes and the amount of defenders in the area, this feat is even more impressive. Lauren had 2 ridiculous performances from long-range earlier this year: 12 made threes and 49 points on January 14, and 13 made threes out of 16 attempts on February 25. Perhaps the top off-the-dribble shooter returning next year in a state full of snipers.
