As is often the case with good players and All-Tournament teams, good players on the same team can "steal votes from each other". Her 45 points in the Finals tied the record for most points scored in a State Tournament game. Henley had 26 points and 15 rebounds in an OT win in the first round, and then added 16 and 12 in a lower scoring affair in the Semi-Finals. Truly one of the most memorable single player performances in a State Tournament. Landry gets steals that you can't even fault the offensive player for, because they just don't expect someone to be able to get to where they are throwing it. Hard for the 5'8'' forward to do much against West in the finals, as Senior Harley Shoaf had the best Championship game for the Wildcats. Scoring 15 points off of 3/4 shooting from downtown. Leedey really gave eventual champion Hammon their toughest test, as it took two overtimes to beat them. Boatman scored 19 points on a very efficient shooting night. In the first round matchup with Leedey she played 40 minutes, shot 50 percent from the field, and had a very efficient 5pts, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists, only turning the ball over three times. Despite having a really big target to throw it too, people make it as hard as they can to get Henley the ball. Often having two girls on her, one low trying to steal any bounce passes, and one behind making sure that even if she catches the lob she will have a difficult shot.
