March is here, which means it's time for the latest quarterly rankings update. With regard to the Class of 2026, this group will now be viewed under a microscope as they move to the forefront as prospects. Below is a look at the top Point Guards in the state, with a handful of standouts and newcomers highlighted below that.

[player_tooltip player_id='1221123' first='Olivia' last='Simpson'], 2026, 5-9 PG, Southwestern H.S. (Hanover) - Olivia is an extremely long and wiry point guard prospect. She is a fairly smooth and fluid athlete, and she plays with a nice motor. Where she excels is, she has a solid feel for the game, great vision, and she can really (and willingly) pass the ball to open teammates in positions to score. She is still very much under-the-radar, so this could be a big Spring & Summer for her.

[player_tooltip player_id='486527' first='Carly' last='Davison'], 2026, 5-5 PG, Clinton Central H.S. - Carly is a tough-nosed, hard-working, crafty, and feisty little guard. She plays with an outstanding motor, she would run through walls for her team, but she also has the ability to shoot/score the ball from all areas of the floor. As a Sophomore, she was asked to be a facilitator, and she showed off her ability to truly lead a team. As a Junior, they needed her to score, and she stepped that part of her game up, even against defenses designed to shut her down.

[player_tooltip player_id='486489' first='Jordynn' last='Johnson'], 2026, 5-4 PG, Elkhart H.S. - Jordynn is a tough-nosed, strong, physical point guard who actually enjoys playing through contact. She is a nice downhill attacker, she can explode to the rim North/South, and she absorbs contact well and finishes in traffic. She is a willing passer, and she understands how to draw defenses to open up teammates. She's also a good rebounder at her size, plus she's a scrappy, physical defender on the ball who also competes at that end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='761180' first='Hunter' last='Mote'], 2026, 5-6 PG, Shawe Memorial H.S. - Hunter really excited people during the Summer between her Freshman and Sophomore seasons. But she then went through an injury with her knee, so it's exciting that she will be back on the circuit this Spring & Summer. She has length, speed & quickness, and she plays with a nice feel and understanding of the game. She can handle it, make dynamic moves off the bounce, and finish in a variety of ways. I am anxious to see her again during this grassroots season.
