What more can we say about Blake? Kaitlyn is dominating in all aspects of the game. Wheeling Central beat Tyler Consolidated 82-45. In the blowout win, Blake scored 35 points. She added 11 rebounds, 4 assists, numerous deflections, and steals! Kaitlyn continues to be unstoppable in the paint area. Teams have no answer for her. I've stated before that Wheeling Central has all of the tools to be state champions. Any team that has Kaitlyn on their squad, has a chance to win!

The WV Wesleyan commit led her team past Williamstown in a 43-35 victory. Davis continues to be a floor general! She is one of the most impactful athletes on the court. She is great at attacking gaps and getting open shots for her teammates. She has all of the intangibles. Addie has a great understanding of the game and her savviness shows in all aspects of the game. She does a great job taking care of the ball and limiting turnovers. She is a good two-way player. This one is the definition of a true leader!

The young volleyball standout knows how to get it done on the basketball court too! Aliff was a an important piece in the 58-27 win over Roane County. Nora put up one of her most efficient stat lines. She was 8-10, pouring in 22 points and adding 5 rebounds. Nora did a great job finishing around the rim. She also picked up 2 nice steals. She was able to showcase her skills, going coast to coast for easy scores. She runs the floor exceptionally well and does a great job in transition. In my opinion, Nora will be a huge X factor for Charleston Catholic to go the distance and win the state championship!

This team runs off the play of Blackburn! Cadence does not have to be the leading scorer for this Wyoming East team to win. She scored 14 points in the win over Mingo Central. Wyoming East won 47-39. The leadership that Blackburn continues to show is exactly why East is heading back to states. She makes things happen at all times. She is great on the defensive end. She never lets off the gas. She has great on ball defense and she will make you work for every inch. Cadence is a fierce competitor that has the ability to lead her team to back-to-back titles!

Maggie was exceptional again! She led her team in scoring with 22 points. James Monroe defeated Summers County 56-51. Boroski is one of the toughest athletes on the court at all times. She plays physical on both ends of the court. Maggie does a great job of attacking the rim, and finishing through contact. She is a solid defender that will dive on the floor for every loose ball. She will win the 50-50 balls. James Monroe is a 5 seed that I would never take lightly. Boroski & her team are playing at a high level!

Other teams that won to make it up state: Logan defeated Buffalo 59-35. Ritchie County defeated Doddridge County 49-28. Philip Barbour is also headed to states after their big win, & their young leader [player_tooltip player_id='840059' first='Izzy' last='Knotts'] is an athlete to keep your eyes on!
