Bear Bryant is credited with the quote: “Offense sells tickets, but defense wins championships.” This is so true in the game of basketball! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='728698' first='Ali' last='Wilcox'] was exceptional again! Wilcox will lay her body on the line for her team. She took two beautiful charges in the championship game! She finished the game with 11 points, shooting 2-3 from long range! She made the all-tournament team. Kirby hit one of the biggest 3's of the game before the buzzer. She also did a great job defensively! She is incredibly unselfish and she has good court vision! She had 5 rebounds, including one big offensive board. She was stellar on the defensive end! She led her team in scoring with 16 points on 6-11 from the floor. She filled up an entire stat sheet. She added 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 huge blocks!
