[player_tooltip player_id='481360' first='Jaelynn' last='Perez'] (2027) | 5'8 PG | Moses Brown / St. George's

Jaelynn has been one of RI's top performers through the season. She's regularly posted big numbers while leading her team to almost winning another championship. The shooting in combination with steady playmaking off the bounce make her a constant threat. Her defense has even improved over the year. Perez is starting to encroach a territory that has her with the upper-class amongst her peers, specifically at the point guard position. Jaelynn's decision to take her talents over to St. Geroge's has been quite the announcement locally. This'll be a seamless fit playing with the Dragons that'll work in her favor. She's not headed too far, so she'll have a chance to play in front of family and friends. Jaelynn is already a fan favorite, but many more eyes will be on her now.

[player_tooltip player_id='1221926' first='Destiny' last='Davidson'] (2030) | Wing | Wheeler

Formerly a 2029 prospect, Destiny recently made the decision to reclass to '30 as a member of the Wheeler School. The young wing is 1/2 of the synergetic pair known as the Davidson Twins. A very popular duo from RI that've been some of the best in their age range for a while now. Destiny is a hardworking guard who gets after it on both sides of the ball. She finds ways to affect the game without the ball in her hands, sets solid screens and loves to make the extra pass. Her ability to hit free-throws is an underrated trait that can be a tool used to sway close games. Davidson isn't afraid to do whatever it takes as a defender to get the stop either. She's one of those players that gets back on defense without even thinking about it. With her length and agility on the perimeter, she's a real promising wing player. Right now, Destiny is recovering from an offseason procedure. She'll be resting for the coming months, but will be back stronger than ever, looking to make an impact. Wheeler will be an excellent opportunity for Destiny to blossom into a premier player.

[player_tooltip player_id='483913' first='Lauren' last='Bousquet'] (2026) | 5'10 PF | Moses Brown

Lauren is the 2025 Gatorade Player of the Year. The dominant play from her over her years has been fantastic, but especially this year, Bousquet seemed determined to take her game to another level. Lauren's individual ascendance and well-rounded tools make her a tough matchup for many. Very skilled at the forward position, most players are either not quick enough to stay in front, too impatient covering her or just not strong enough to put a stop to her forceful play. She's also a vigorous defender that makes plays on the ball with her versatility. Lauren led her squad to the state final this year and was extremely close to being a back-to-back champion.

[player_tooltip player_id='1221925' first='Danielle' last='Davidson'] (2030) | CG | Wheeler

This is a player that could very well be within the top of the '29 rankings, had she stayed within the class. Danielle is the other half of the Davidson duo. Just like her sister, she's a 2-way player, but Danielle's game is a bit more predicated on offense. The versatile guard is someone who brings a level of dynamic ability which can be absolutely stunning at times. The lefty is extremely crafty with the ball in her hands, getting to a ton of counters moves on the fly. She moves well in space and also sports a nice jump shot. The pullup jumper is legit plus she understands how to manipulate the defense early on with multifaceted attacks. Davidson is also a team first player. Even though she can assert herself when she deems, she'll quickly make a pass leading to a teammate getting an easier basket. Even with these upper-class offensive qualities, Danielle still remains an impactful defender. She isn't afraid of the individual matchups she faces, taking on each challenge that presents itself. The recent announcement to attend Wheeler has made waves in the local community. She could've played at many schools, but ultimately decided on the best situation that fits what she's looking for. This was a trailblazing move for Davidson.

[player_tooltip player_id='975869' first='Javiana' last='Stec'] (2028) | 5'5 CG | Ponaganset

The RI State Champion MVP has to be mentioned. What freshman is winning such highly regarded award in the biggest game of the year? Javiana has been one of the most exciting players through the course of the season, but this game really solidifies how important she is. Stec played efforted defense showed adaptable offense in an extremely tight game. She was able to lean on her crafted skills to find tough buckets in overtime which directly led to her team winning a championship. Seemingly humble and a clear passion for the game, Stec will be an interesting watch as she transitions to AAU. There'll be a good number of eyes watching the young state champion.
