Yesterday at Kansas State University's Bramlage Coliseum, I scouted four talented Class 2A teams. Unfortunately, two of those teams had their season end on one of the biggest stages in Kansas.

In this report, five prospects are featured from Thomas More Prep and Phillipsburg. The Monarchs lost to No. 1 Seed Moundridge, while the Panthers fell to No. 5 Seed Inman.

Here is a report on five prospects from those two clubs who should pick up their heads after a tough loss and prepare to enjoy their bright futures.

[player_tooltip player_id='822724' first='Brooke' last='Koenigsman'], 5'8”, CG, TMP-Marian, ‘25

Koenigsman is the consummate scorer. She can shoot from anywhere on the floor but loves to drive and take pull-up jumpers or running floaters. The TMP guard is a plus ball-handler willing to crash the boards. She led the Monarchs in scoring with 23 points on 9-of-20 shooting from the field. She is committed to playing softball for Western Iowa Community College. She plays shortstop for the Monarchs.

[player_tooltip player_id='916490' first='Claire' last='Schippers'], 5'8”, PF, TMP-Marian, ‘26

Schipper is a salty player who can do a little bit of everything on a court to help her team. She is an unranked talent who scored six points and registered three rebounds, two assists, and one steal. She played a key role in TMP's late run, and she played with composure.

Kayla Jacobs, 5'6”, CG, Phillipsburg, ‘25

She is a quality guard who looks to push the pace. She has great court vision and makes crisp passes. She scored 11 points to lead the Panthers. Jacobs shot 3-of-9 from the field and 4-of-6 from the charity stripe.

[player_tooltip player_id='916493' first='Chloe' last='Vanderveen'], 5'7”, SG, Phillipsburg, ‘26

Vanderveen has a sweet shot from deep. She kept the Panthers in the game early with a couple of long-range drains. She finished with a team-high eight points and five steals in the season-ending loss.

Ryleigh Seems, 5'11”, PF, Phillipsburg, ‘26

Seems is a strong athlete willing to fight for space in the paint. She had her work cut out for her on the defensive end but held her own. She moves well without the ball and makes accurate passes. She can improve her stock by looking to score more often. Seems has a nice form on her jump shot, but needs to look to dribble and drive more often. Seems scored five points and collected three rebounds in the loss to Inman.
