I had Gerber described to me by a watching college coach as a Swiss army knife with a mature frame. She played with the steadiness of a player that realizes the game has slowed down for her. She plays and defends multiple positions, consistently helps well from the weak side, is a general scoring threat and just plays within herself. College coaches liked a lot of what they saw. They will need to get on it because she is also drawing division 1 rowing interest.

Resilient. Tough. Floor Leader. That is just a start of how I can describe Lee's play. Undersized for sure but she consistently found ways to score, chased down offensive rebounds, defended consistently and was a big driver of SSA going 3-1, providing pool winner [program_tooltip program_id='1097677' first='High' last='Impact'] its only real competition. Working with her talented young group - only two of which will be seniors - she effectively spread the ball around and picked her spots. A very good transition play maker

Running with [program_tooltip program_id='1097677' first='High' last='Impact'] at the event The Oak Park point guard showed strong speed and quickness on the drive. The play of her and her backcourt mates facilitated a great amount of space for her bigs to work in the paint. A big reason [program_tooltip program_id='1097677' first='High' last='Impact'] ran the table was defense against basket drives. The quickness of Ross and her teammates did not supply open gaps. And with the consistent interior and off-side help opponents could only sustain shot opportunities by making extra passes off the drive.

Running with [program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 17U Iowa at the event the Liberty wing showed a versatility and physicality. While she played with controlled speed and quickness it was her smooth release and ability to deny entry passes that caught my attention. She should show up on a pile of radars over the upcoming year.

As Wright continues to grow and polish her game in the years ahead she is quickly emerge on the radars of colleges at a variety of levels. She showed solid hands, caught and released high when inside and scored against contact and generally wore most opponents down in the second half with her strength, positioning and size. Defensively she used good quickness to challenge shots and get to rebounds. Read more about her from day 1 below.
