We're closing on the first live period of the AAU season. I'll be in Ohio for the first UAA stop, and programs around the state will be all over. For the D1 programs who may be reading this heading into the live period, I want to highlight a few kids in each high school class you may want to see before the live period. We'll have the 2028s and 2027s today and round out the articles for the month with the 2026s tomorrow.

I first saw Seubert as an eighth grader playing up in 15U with her Wisconsin Flight group at Nike Nationals, and I liked her, but that was before I knew she had recently come off a severe leg injury. Last summer, I saw her play in Louisville at Run 4 Roses. I talked with the person I attended the event with, and we agreed that Seubert was the best kid in Wisconsin's 2028 class. We both came to that conclusion in about two minutes of game time. Her ability to create, score at all three levels with ease, defend, and pass makes her a national recruit to me, and I'm sure schools will start catching on this AAU season if they haven't already. She's unbelievable.

[player_tooltip player_id='751287' first='Tessa' last='Bryan']

I've consistently talked about living with mistakes to get the best out of Bryan. However, her mistakes have decreased, and the rewards for having Bryan on the floor have risen significantly in the last year. I can't praise her enough for how much she's improved this past season. She became an integral cog in one of the best offenses in the state last season and limited some of the shots that would frustrate coaches. She has D1 interest and offers, but that list will grow this AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='751281' first='Rita' last='Kuepper']

The Hartford guard will be an intriguing case to follow this spring and summer. Kuepper has D1 interest and has earned an offer at that level. Offensively, she's among the most complete kids you'll find in Wisconsin and makes the game look easy. Kuepper looks like she makes the offensive end of the floor look like a blank canvas, and what she can do on that end is art. The question will be how D1 programs see her on the defensive end, and she's improved on that end since I first saw her play.

[player_tooltip player_id='764909' first='Haylie' last='Dulas']

Nothing may jump out watching Dulas the first time you see her play. Dulas has a skill set that is an acquired taste. Watching her defend and make the right decision each time she has to with the ball or a read on the defensive end, she makes the right choice, and is where she needs to be. She has enough of an offensive game to be a threat, has been trusted to defend some elite talents on the perimeter, and has done an excellent job in her time at Kimberly. It's not an accident that wherever she goes, her team wins.
