16U squad defeated Team Southwest 58-52 in the opener here at the Adidas 3SSB Session 1.

was solid from the beginning to the end of the game. Jade came up with some timely shots down the stretch on the night to finish with 17 points. She was able to get to the cup by using ball-screens at times and slipping through the paint. Jade finished through contact all game long in the win.

finished with 12 points while connecting on 4 three-pointers today. Harmony has good length to play out on the wing. She plays quite well in the passing lanes picking up deflections and loose balls at times on the defensive end. Harmony attends Camden HS.

hails from the State of Arkansas. Haney did a little bit of everything at times it seemed. She constantly played around the ball when it came to jumping on the deck, crashing the glass or just making a hustle play.

. McClure who plays at Legacy Early College finished with 12 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals in the game. Jaida was able to get downhill with the rock in her hand and penetrate-kick to the open teammate. She was able to finish at the bucket when she wasn’t looking to shoot the mid-range jumper.

Jordin Richardson really brought her game to the table here today. Jordin showed a very quick first step to race by defenders. The athletic Richardson was able to really rebound the ball well on both ends of the court from her position. She finished with 11 points in the win. Jordin really impacted the game on both ends of the court with her play. Jordin made HUSTLE plays all game long. She played very productive and vocal on the floor with her teammates. Jordin attends Nansemond River HS where she averaged 23.1 ppg and 8.2 rebounds this past season while receiving All-State honors.

. Alaya really looks to go to work down low on the block. She moves well from side to side while looking to work for position. She was able to score through contact at times here today. Alaya attends Deep Creek HS.

Boyer plays down in North Carolina at Goldsboro HS. Aziyah has active feet around the paint. She plays the game well as a mover-screener at times. Aziyah really likes to go to work down low playing through contact and sealing off defenders. She does a nice job of using her body to battle for position. Aziyah averaged 16.8 ppg, 8.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks at Goldsboro HS. Boyer also plays volleyball and softball at the school.
