Underwood played her role this weekend and made a difference on both ends with her mixture of length, coordination, and wherewithal. On multiple occasions, Underwood was instructed to guard the opposing team's best post presence and time and time again, she held her own and made some respectable plays underneath. When it came down to the final minutes of her contest, this is someone that made plays consistently to help her team win the game. This is a big AAU season for Underwood. She has a lot of collegiate interest after coming off of being the 1A POTY in Iowa. If she continues to grow in her play-style, the sky is the limit with how dedicated she is.

One of the most promising talents I've seen out of the 2029 Class this year so far is [player_tooltip player_id='1224390' first='Natalia' last='Sandoval'] from [program_tooltip program_id='713071' first='Play4Him' last='Academy']. Sandoval is a 5'4 guard, that is a mix between a 1 and 2 at this time because of her versatile playmaking ability with the rock in her possession. This weekend Sandoval showed out in each game she played. She averaged around 20 PPG throughout and she made clutch plays to help her team get some W's. Quite literally. In one instance, Sandoval hit a 3 from deep to force overtime at the end of regulation and that led to her team eventually winning the contest in double OT. This is a guard who is very skilled in what she is doing out on the hardwood and she has a smart head on her shoulders. Those two things are going to take her places in the long run.

This article is based on playing both sides of the floor and no one does that better than [player_tooltip player_id='342205' first='Jayla' last='Williams']. Williams is a CG with a ton of potential. Defensively, she is one of the best prospects that the state of Iowa has to offer and that's been a known fact for a few years now. This weekend Williams was getting multiple steals, tips, and deflections. Along with making some big plays in the blocks department of the game. Offensively she was hitting jumpers off the catch, she got to the basket at a thorough rate off the dribble, and she played like her usual "self-less" self. All in all, great first showing for this one with her new Mokan 17U program.

You want to talk about a rising star at the middle school level? Look no further than Bryce Webster of IGB 15U GUAA. Webster has a strap on her from deep. She possesses a NASTY crossover into a step back and that's just the tip of the iceberg. She can also handle, facilitate when she is overplayed, and she seems to always leave it all out on the floor. Webster is still really young so she isn't the tallest but she was one of the shiftiest prospects that I've seen as I go back to look throughout this event. Webster had a showing this past weekend. One that might help her gain some national attention over these next few months.

The height, versatile skill-set, and agile movement that Jayda Porter possesses is eye opening. We are taking about someone at 6'4, that moves better than most, she can hit jumpers from ALL over the floor, and she is a force to be reckoned with in the middle of the paint. She has a soft touch on the ball and that, along with her frame make her an impossible guard for most. I'm not sure if I'll see another like Porter on the road this Summer. She demonstrated this weekend that she is 1 of 1. Even against some of the best competition in the Country.
