She won championships on both the public school and prep school levels. Lunan is one of the most electric players in the country. She won the Gatorade and Maxpreps Arizona Player of the Year awards. She will take her talents to Raleigh to play for the NC State Wolfpack.

Before her injury, Taliyah was as hot a prospect in the country and was beginning to knock on McDonald's All-American status. There's no doubt that with her work ethic and athletic ability, she will be back stronger than ever. She is currently ranked the #23 rated senior by ESPN. Henderson will be on Tobacco Road as she is committed to the University of North Carolina.

Owens capped off a phenomenal high school career with yet another state championship—that makes four for four with state championships. According to everyone I've spoken with, Owens is as good a teammate as she is a basketball player. I've watched her consistently improve her game year after year. She is committed to the University of San Diego.

Perkins just might be the best two-way player in the class. She is as tough as they come and never backs down from a challenge. She is usually relied upon to lead her team in scoring and guard the opposing team's best offensive player. Her prep school prepared her for the next level. She will attend the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Carter has tremendous upside as an inside/outside threat. She has length and athletic ability that doesn't necessarily grow on trees. She is very agile, and her offensive game is continuing to blossom. She is also a big defensive presence. Kayla was voted her region's defensive player of the year. She is committed to the University of Nevada at Reno.

Sidney is what you call a hooper. She never backs down from a challenge, and if there's a game to be played, she will show up. She doesn't ask who's playing because she's going at any and everyone. She is known for her shooting touch, which rivals anyone in the state. Her ball handling has improved so much that I wouldn't be surprised if she is on the ball more at the next level. She will be taking her talents down I-17 to Phoenix and will suit up for the Grand Canyon University Antelopes.

Stedman is another player whose season was cut short due to an injury. Prior to the injury, Heather was heading for a stellar senior season for PHH Prep Lady Fire. She's a clutch shooting guard who is physical and able to finish through contact. She is currently getting back into shape and will be ready to go soon. Heather is committed to Cal State University, Northridge.

The Wisconsin native has made her presence known the last few years on the prep school scene in the desert. She is a very long wing with range that extends well beyond the three-point stripe. That, along with her crafty ball handling ability, makes her extremely difficult to defend. Alexiz is committed to Fresno State University.

The Serbian native might be the most versatile player in the class. She could grab the rebound, go coast to coast, and finish the play herself or create for her teammates. She played multiple positions for her team. Ivona is a member of the Serbian National team and is committed to playing at St. Bonaventure University.

Norah is the premier post player in the class. She is skilled and physical around the basket. She gets double-teamed constantly but still produces big numbers. She is also a monster on the boards. Moo won't have to travel far for her collegiate career, as she is committed to playing for the Lopes of Grand Canyon University.

Each year, Arizona says goodbye to a special class of seniors who've made a lasting impact on the state's girls' basketball legacy. This year is no different, as this class has quite a few graduates who will play on the collegiate level.
