This weekend marked the first of two stops for the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit to go through Indiana in 2025. The Crossroads Clash took place at the beautiful new 10-court Mishawaka Fieldhouse, just 5 minutes from the University of Notre Dame's campus. After seeing most of the teams in the 17U, 16U, and 15U divisions, below is a look at seven ladies from the 2026 class who stood out to me for one reason or another.

Maliya is actually a 2025 who is getting one last run in this Spring in hopes of drawing additional interest in basketball. She is a big, strong, physical front-liner who works incredibly hard. She is deceptively athletic, she fights for position inside, but she also seems very coachable and doesn't seem to make the same mistakes twice. Maliya is also a talented volleyball player and is potentially looking to play both sports at the next level.

I continue to be impressed with Haileigh's productivity, because she handles contact/pressure well considering she's an extremely long & wiry prospect. She has touch to the 3-point line, she can put it on the floor and attack the basket, and she has a nice mid-range game. She'll defend a couple of different positions, she'll pursue rebounds, and she seems to really enjoy playing. I think she's the type of kid several Midwestern small colleges have had past success with.

I have been a big fan of Aniyah's since I really concentrated on her game last Summer. Whenever she's in the game, her team improves. She sees the floor well, advances the ball on time/on target, and she communicates with productivity as well. She is very quick, fast, and she will get after it defensively. She isn't little, despite being shorter, and she handles contact well. She will undoubtedly be overlooked by a number of schools because of her height, and that's a mistake.

I have had Addison's name for some time, but this was my first opportunity to actually see her in-person. She has a solid to strong frame, nice length, and she's a well-balanced athlete in most directions. She plays hard, doesn't let little things affect her, and she has a solid all-around skillset. She handles pressure, finds teammates without hesitation, and she can bury an open rhythm jumper. Addison transferred into Delta this year after starting out at Yorktown High School.

Swynn is one of those kids who could have a big Spring in front of her. She is extremely long, smooth & fluid, and somewhat bouncy as well. She will attack the basket, primarily left-handed, she has a nice stroke from the perimeter, and she is an active offensive rebounder. Defensively, she can sit down and defend bigger guards, wings, and even some undersized forwards. I think all the tools are there to work with; a strong Spring & Summer will go a long way for her.

Alyx put together her best Winter yet at Chatard, but she has always been a skillful basketball player with nice size and potential. She is long, wiry-strong, fairly fluid, and versatile. She can put it on the floor 3 to 4 dribbles and get somewhere productively, she has touch to the 3-point line, but she can also go inside, rebound, and defend. In a loaded 2026 class, she could end up being a real small college "sleeper" at this point. This Spring could be huge for her as well.

Speaking of small college "sleepers", Kendall is a skillful wing who could really utilize this Spring & Summer in a big way. She is a fairly strong wing, she's a solid athlete, but she is a talented perimeter shooter who just needs a little space/time to get her shot away. She is on a loaded high school team, so not many people have seen her at length, but she could make an immediate impact in the right college situation. Kendall is also willing to be physical, rebound, and defend.
