[player_tooltip player_id='515051' first='Ekklesia' last='Anderson'] is a talented young guard to watch throughout this summer. She has the ability to make the spectacular and "wow" play several times in a game. A lot of what she does is predicated on her speed and quickness and athleticism. During the SSS tournament, Anderson got to the rim and scored, especially in the transition game. Anderson's has a very potent mid-range game and with her speed, it is a shot she can get off consistently. Defensively, she was outstanding with her on ball pressure.

[player_tooltip player_id='439457' first='Nevaeh' last='Lee'] was very good a few weeks ago and several things stood out about her play. In a 94 feet race to the goal, she can spot defenders 10 feet and by the time she scores the layup, the defender is 10 feet behind. Lee repeated this several times and it was no fluke. Her ability to accelerate up the court with the ball in her hand is a site to see. On defense, Lee is equally exciting. Several times the opposing guard was leading the fast break only to discover that Lee had chased them down and taken the ball away.

[player_tooltip player_id='1134047' first='Delanie' last='Doty'] was a standout on both sides of the ball. Doty plays to the "echo of the whistle," as Coach Bowden used to say. At SSS, the ball followed Doty all over the court. She rebounds very well from the guard position and is a force when leading the break. Doty can pull up on the break with a deadly three point or mid-range jumper. The dynamic guard showed some great court vision and anticipation. Doty is a playmaker who can dish the rock, but she does have a scorer's mentality from the point guard position.

[player_tooltip player_id='515069' first='Erynn' last='Moffett'] was dominant at times in the 16U division. Her offensive skills are really shaping up and she showed the speed and explosion when attacking the rim. One offensive play that comes to mind was an attack to the paint and spin around pull up jumper- all in one sequence. On the defensive end is where the dominance really showed itself. Moffett's defensive skills are on a different level than most 16U's. In one game, Moffett defended power forwards and small forwards in the first half and then covered the shooting guard in the second half. On another play, Moffett was getting back on defense. She sees a pass to the wing player while she is at the free-throw line. Moffett bee-lines to the ball and blocks the shot. Just another day and another play for the talented Moffett.

[player_tooltip player_id='221598' first='Trinity' last='Berry'] had some good moments at the SSS in Tampa. Berry ran the floor well and also got to her spots to shoot the rock. Berry has a smooth three point shot and defenses pay attention to her when she is on the floor. Berry has the ability to take it to the rim when teams close out too hard and in the game that I watched, that is what repeatedly happened. Berry has a knack of getting to the rim and drawing the foul and getting to the free-throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='400813' first='Asiana' last='McCreary'] had some nice plays at the SSS. The play that stood out was on a "five-out" offensive set. McCreary gets the pass while in motion. She turns the corner and sees Moffett cutting back door. McCreary zips a pass to the perfect location and count the bucket. McCreary also ran the floor well and had some nice buckets in transition. Offensively, McCreary played on the wing and on the block. She looked smooth on the perimeter and had some quality shots from behind the arc. She defended well on the perimeter and had a few blocked shots in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='874205' first='E'mani' last='Pryor'] held things down at the SSS during the moments I saw her on the floor. Pryor stood out on the defensive end. She blocked some shots in the paint and showed the ability to cover her man effectively in the paint. She was also quick enough to play great help-side defense when an opposing ball handler got in the paint. On offense, Pryor got great position on the blocks. Her athleticism jumped off the page and she will be a player to keep an eye on throughout this summer.
