JAMFEST: 17U Sharpshooters

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lady Baller Insider (LBI) presented the Wilkins Report Jamfest (NCAA Certified Live Period) tournament in Howell on April 26th and 27th. Several local programs and a handful of clubs from regional states participated in the tournament. Most of the athletes were perfect for NAIA/D3/JUCO D2 colleges to evaluate, and there were several colleges on site. Sophia was a sniper beyond the arc. She swished four-corner triples in one game with excellent balance and mechanics off the dribble and the catch. Sophia worked hard to stop drives on defense and caused fouls by driving hard to the basket. She maintained great balance while creating space with her dribble. Nina keeps her head up and feet wide to pass or shoot as she attacks defenders with various dribble combinations. She buried multiple triples with a high arc, including a silky smooth step-back 3 from the wing. Grace made the perfect read when she forced a defender to commit to her dribble before dishing a showtime no-look pass for an assist. Lydia caught passes with her feet set to shoot and buried four triples with smooth mechanics--I labeled her as a "sniper" in my notes. Lydia actively crashed the offensive glass to secure rebounds and earned free throws as a result.
