Had a chance to watch some of the '28 MCW squad and they were fiery. They're a team littered with upper-class players that know how to play together. Standing out early on was Paradis. The aggressiveness, ability to draw contact and overall control of the game was on full display. Kiera can be a primary creator that stimulates the offense, plus she has no problem getting off the ball. Not only an offensive factor though, the '28 pg is a sturdy defender that puts pressure on skilled ballhandlers.

[player_tooltip player_id='496149' first='Kyla' last='Buco'] (2026) | 5'7 SG | BCRI

Kyla has been quite impressive so far. Having a chance to watch some full game highlights, it's clear Buco is so much more than just a shooter. Of course, she can hit big time shots, as well as showing the capacity to put it on the floor a bit. However, it was her defense that stood out, particularly in their 61-55 win over Castle Athletics. Buco showed she can cancel out offensive guards with persistent perimeter protection while engaging the primary ballhandlers. Her hands were active, agitating some talented guards and disturbing their peace. Kyla has been a stately contributor for her squad so far.

[player_tooltip player_id='449583' first='Serenity' last='Lancaster'] (2026) | 6'1 Forward | CBC

Standing at 6ft+ with tons of athleticism, Lancaster stood out immediately. The on-court swag plus the passion she plays with is distinctive. She's an exceptional playing her natural position, but she has the ability to slide around to play others too. It was quite clear that her skillset is something college coaches desire to have in their program. Serenity was able to affect the game in many ways, even without the ball in her hand. She fights for position early and gives teammates great angles for the entry pass. That competitive energy doesn't dissipate through the course of the game either; Lancaster gives maximum energy until the whistle blows. The versatile forward's activeness on both sides is absolutely indispensable.

[player_tooltip player_id='301042' first='Bleu' last='Kerr'] (2026) | 5'9 CG | RIBC

Kerr had a nice game yesterday putting up 15 pts, 4 rb and 4 ast. She got out in transition, took advantage of isolation matchups, plus she found teammates as she drove to the lane. The big guard has a deep bag and it's clear she's gifted. Bleu's game can rise to another level as the competition stiffens. Kerr's general impact is inimitable. There's just not many that have the overall capacity she does.

Maeve Earky (2027) | 5'10 Wing | IBelieve

It's obvious the ascension in Early's game. Getting a chance to watch her early on during the high school season, the improvement she's shown has been absolutely stunning. In yesterday's matchup vs. Sideline Cancer, Maeve looked elite. The way she was able to craft her shots from, step backs, within triple threat and in transition was sight to see. Early has seemingly sped everything up in her game as well as showcasing an assertiveness that has her looking like a first option scorer rather than a complimentary player. Not only a basket getter though, but she also made connective passes that hit teammates directly and came away with some critical rebounds in the paint. Even though it's just one game, her performance was phenomenal, one of the better ones so far.
