Prep Girls Hoops Kansas is scheduled to release updated rankings for the Class of 2027 on April 15.

Those rankings will include 200 total athletes, and 66 athletes will be debuting in the rankings.

Here is a sneak peek at five athletes who will be joining the rankings for the first time.

Athletes, parents, coaches, and subscribers will have to return to see where each of these five get slotted in the '27 Kansas rankings. New additions to the rankings are encouraged to claim their new player profiles by using this link https://prepgirlshoops.com/prospect-index/#claim-profile-anchor

[player_tooltip player_id='1220154' first='Natalie' last='Kilian'], 5'6”, SG/PG, Blue Valley West, ‘27

Kilian is all set to debut in the rankings next week. She recently played in Ames, Iowa, with her club team MOKAN 17U Select. She posted video highlights from that action in Iowa. She was bringing rain from deep, and I like the way she aggressively drives to the hoop.

[player_tooltip player_id='1104718' first='Xoey' last='Watie'], 5'2”, PG, Derby, ‘27

There is nothing eye-popping about Waite's stat line from her sophomore season, but after watching her highlight package on HUDL, she is an impressive talent. She is a plus defender and has the knack to get into passing lanes at the right time. She makes crisp passes and always looks up the floor after making a steal so the Panthers can score in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1149686' first='Cayten' last='Cummings'], 5'10”, SF, Yates Center, ‘27

Cummings is a multi-sport who is ranked No. 13 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027 by Prep Dig Kansas. She parlayed her solid sophomore season into making her debut in the PGH rankings. She scored 15.2 points per game and grabbed nine rebounds per contest. She is long, athletic, and can elevate in both sports.

[player_tooltip player_id='1114884' first='Jaelyn' last='Spangler'], 5'5”, PG, Western Plains, ‘27

Western Plains' freshman point guard will be joining the rankings. Her sophomore season stat line for the Bulldogs is impressive across the board. She finished with averages of 6.4 points, 5.6 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.9 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1216022' first='Taylor' last='Froese'], 5'10”, PF, Inman, ‘27

Froese is another multi-sport prospect set to be added to the rankings. She logged quality minutes during Inman's Class 2A State Tournament run and loves to crash the boards. She recorded 212 kills for Inman's volleyball squad last season. So far this spring, she has knocked in six runs, scored nine runs, and collected seven hits, in six softball games.
