Anjolie Abelard (2028) | 5'6 CG | MCW Starz

Anjolie is giving a completely different look transitioning from high school basketball where she was called upon as freshman to be the team's primary perimeter defender. AAU has apparently allowed her to spread her offensive wings. She flourished in the games played over the weekend. Abelard showcased her blazing speed, getting wide on the breaks for easier transition points, created opportunities off the dribble for teammates and finished at the rim tirelessly through an abundance of contact. Her athleticism helped her shine in the team's aggressive style of play. Anjolie is still one of the best on-ball defenders in the class, but it was nice to see her shine in other areas of her game. MCW Starz went 4-0 on the weekend and Abelard's contributions greatly supported their dominating efforts.

Maeve Early (2027) | 5'10 Wing | IBelieve

Maeve is one of the biggest stock risers in the entire class. Her game has grown tremendously over the year and all the recognition she's been receiving lately is well earned. Early can affect the game a multitude of ways with or without the ball in her hands. She's shown she can get a basket when her number is called from various levels of the floor, hounds opposing team's best wing players, cleans up on the glass the glass, advances the ball and displays a competitive spirit throughout the entirety of the game. Maeve's ascension has been fabulous to watch. She's looking like a star in the making.

Kendra Foy (2027) | 5'10 CG | IBelieve

Not a surprise to those in CT, but surely to many in the building this weekend, Foy was a stunning performer at the Spring Showdown, particularly when she went head-to-head against a talented Bay State Jag team. There were a few plays where she looked to take advantage of the isolation situation against one of the top talents in the entire region. Many players may back down from the tall task of taking on a next level talent such as herself, but that wasn't Kendra. Not only did she make the most of the possessions, but she was quite animated while proceeding to affect the game with momentous shots. It's quite clear that her infectious energy rubbed off on teammates who fed off her liveliness. In the brief moment watching her, she made a statement. Foy should definitely be in consideration for being one of the top players within the '27 class. Her 2-way creation and playmaking skills, along with her topnotch athleticism are incredibly intriguing.

Lily Davis (2028) | 5'7 PG | IBelieve

Although Davis started a bit slow entering the weekend, she ended up getting it going when it counted. Davis showed why she's one of the most successful paint penetrators in the class. She won't be stopped getting to her spots which requires extra defenders to step up. Her driving lanes are crafty; they're founded on her athleticism as well as dexterity placing the ball in the proper position to protect it. She has daring attributes in route to the rim that make her a hard cover, especially when she's getting downhill. The dynamic attacker only needs a slight edge and she'll ensure players guarding her stay behind her. Lily is a solid defender herself too. She uses her body well to guide players where she'd like and uses her length well to affect ballhandlers.

Alannah Morantus (2027) | 6'0 PG | Rivals

Alannah looks good in her new Rivals threads. She's fit in seamlessly and the team was remarkably potent with her versatile guard abilities inserted. The 3-level scoring was on full display in the short time watched, but it left a lasting impression. It was obvious how much value Alannah provides, plus she can carry the heavy lifting of the offensive responsibilities. The '27 star exploits the deficiencies in defenders while trying to capitalize on the mismatch that presents itself. Not only a factor on offense though, Morantus pounces on opportunities to create turnovers as an on-ball defender herself. Her length and agility allow her to be a hinderance to primary ballhandlers. She's also exceptionally interchangeable in variety of different lineups. Her performance was absolutely imposing.
