Hall was a force on both ends of the floor in a pair of afternoon wins. From snatch blocking shots at the rim, to pushing it herself to create transition opportunities. There were those highlight reel plays, but some of her best moments were watching her compete on the defensive end. Which shouldn't be a surprise given where she goes to high school. Hall's athleticism was firmly on display to close out the tournament, including her switchability as a defender. She's quick enough to chase around guards and her physicality can make life very hard for those guards. It was a good sign as she continues to progress from a post player, to a versatile wing.

Enid Elite went 4-0 on the weekend with a variety of standouts from the classes of 2027 and 2028. One of the catalyst of their complete team performance was the energetic defense of Thomas. She's a pest with quick feet for on the ball pressure and quick hands to be disruptive. Mix in some timely scoring in transition and open threes. and it was a great in person viewing introduction to another member of Oklahoma's very promising freshman class.

The freshman competed in the 16U pool, and never looked out of place. In fact she was one of the better athletes, with a good combination of strength and quickness. Gets downhill with a solid first step and plays under control in those drives. Complete with two foot stops. In the final game of Saturday, she even knocked down multiple triples in the second half. Looks to be a strong all around scorer, with a bright future.

New name to track in 2028, Mills had a good all around game in a Saturday morning win for her northern Oklahoma based program. Scored in a variety of ways, as a determined driver and part of the barrage of threes from her and her teammates. Handle will need to continue to be tighter as she matures. Deflected passes and competed on defense, while also having good energy when subbed out, still cheering on her teammates from the bench. It was a solid day for the youngster.

The ball finds energy and for Carey's case, that saying applies to both ends of the court. Plays strong denial defense and in the passing lanes, leading to deflections and steals. Runs the floor equally hard for transition points. Even can hit open threes. Does a lot of little things, that quickly adds up to a big impact. Like the complete and team first mindset that was apparent in the rising sophomore's game.

It was a good tune up for the EYCL squad before a trip to Phoenix. Among the many standouts is rising star Kindred. With a complete and talented roster, she never fully had take over moments. But the upside and talent was still strongly on display. She was a huntress on defense. With her long, active arms, blocking shots and forcing steals. Then she picked her spots to do damage in the four blowout victories for LEGYNDS. With the competition about to ramp up, expect Kindred to be ready on the offensive end for bigger contributions this spring and summer.
