[player_tooltip player_id='1091201' first='Alyssa' last='McGuire'] put herself on the map after she lit up Armorel with her outside shooting during the regular season. #32 is too low, especially knowing that her play will drastically improve after Marked Tree graduates multiple starters.

McGuire put up 40 points on 12 threes against Armorel on the road. Her outside shooting has been on full display throughout the year, as she knocked down 5 triples in the first half of a postseason matchup with Rural Special.

[player_tooltip player_id='1091201' first='Alyssa' last='McGuire']'s quick release and ability to get going from outside in a short time make her a dangerous weapon for Marked Tree. She earned all-conference and all-state honors thanks to her incredible scoring ability, and you should not be surprised if she puts herself in the conversation for the top player in the 1A classification. I also think she will find her way into the top 20 in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180793' first='Alaina' last='Owenby'] had an incredible sophomore season for Life Way Christian, and she is set to repeat her efforts during the 2025-26 season.

Owenby is an automatic scorer who lit up the 2A classification with 23 points and 7 rebounds per game during the regular season. The small forward is a particularly strong 3-point shooter who is great off the catch and the dribble.

In addition to Owenby's great outside play, she is a tough all-around contributor inside. She is a solid rebounder who uses her long reach and athleticism to her advantage.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180793' first='Alaina' last='Owenby'] was an all-conference and all-state selection for a reason. She was fantastic, and her play should warrant her a spot in the top 25 of this class.

Manila has several talented players, especially at the guard position. [player_tooltip player_id='1093314' first='Lucy' last='Farmer'] is one of those players, and despite her all-state season, she is still underrated.

Farmer averaged 15.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 2.2 steals per game during her sophomore year. She is an ultra-quick guard who appears to be impossible to stop in transition. If she is not scoring in the paint or stopping and popping from outside, she is probably hitting her teammates with accurate passes.

Farmer's speed comes in handy on the defensive end. She beats the opposing ball-handlers to their spots, disrupting them and forcing turnovers left and right. She can also wreak havoc in the passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1093314' first='Lucy' last='Farmer'] will find her way into the top 25-30 in this class, but I would not be surprised if her ranking continued to rise as the season goes along.

[player_tooltip player_id='1131357' first='Maliyah' last='Banks'] is criminally underrated. She flashed tremendous talent with Riverview this past season, and her ranking should take a bump after the next update.

One of Banks' best performances of the season was against Rose Bud, where she burned down the nets by hitting 7 3-pointers. Banks showed off her flamethrower against other poor opponents throughout the season, including Des Arc, where she knocked down 5 triples.

The Riverview standout is also great in transition. She has a great handle and can keep the defense on their toes, being a threat to drive hard to the basket. Banks has shown that she can make accurate passes on the break, feasting in the open floor one way or another.

[player_tooltip player_id='1131357' first='Maliyah' last='Banks'] is not well known for now, but I believe with another great season with Riverview, there will not be a corner of the state that does not know her name. I would not be surprised if she found her way into the top 35 of the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183222' first='Rosebella' last='Onyango'] was the backup center for the Little Rock Central Lady Tigers this past season, but she will be looking for an expanded role in 2025-26.

Central graduated 4 starters, including their starting small forward, power forward, and center, so they will need to rely more on Onyango's length this year.

Onyango showed off a variety of skills as a sophomore, asserting herself as an incredible shot-blocker, rebounder, and interior scorer. She also showed flashes of perimeter skills. Onyango was confident shooting from the mid-range and three, and was comfortable bringing the ball up the floor.

I am curious how much [player_tooltip player_id='1183222' first='Rosebella' last='Onyango'] improves heading into her junior season. #60 is too low for her, and once she becomes the Tigers' starting center and one of the top centers in the 6A Central, it will make sense why she deserves a spot in the top 40 of the class.

There is a lot of talent in the 2027 class, and I cannot wait to watch these incoming juniors ball out in 2025-26.
