Elite Momentum: WKE’s Summer Stars Ready to Shine

We are finishing off our 4 part series covering the outstanding talent of these <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/program/western-kansas-elite/">WKE </a>women. With some tough tournaments already under the belt ranging from the Heart of Texas tournament, where they went 3-1 and finished 2nd in their pool. At 6'0", she combines size, athleticism, and skill to dominate both ends of the floor. Offensively, she can score at all three levels—knocking down jumpers, attacking off the dribble, and finishing through contact. Shamari has the ability to create space, along with her skills in making quick decisions, she can break down defenses consistently. Defensively, she uses her length and instincts to disrupt passing lanes, rebound aggressively, and take on any challenge. Lewis plays with a competitive edge and poise that sets the tone for her team.     Brylee is a force to be reckoned with in the NWKL during her junior season. She stands to carry this momentum into the summer circuit. She can get hot from beyond the arc and when she does be ready for her to drop some points on you. With her size she is also able to move to a more post position and be a threat at the rim. Defensively, her size and effort leads to her being able to pull down boards and contest shots. This summer Brylee is set to continue her progress as a player and gear up for her final year prep sports.     Morgan's game is a pure shooter and this gives her great confidence at the perimeter. This threat from the perimeter stretches the defenses and opens up spacing on the floor. She has great composure and shooting accuracy that makes no moment too big for her. She isn't just a offensive threat. Armbruster's has tremendous versatility with her height, speed, and her basketball IQ, making it hard for offenses to avoid her. She is a valuable asset to any team's dynamic leading her to play alongside the veterans at WKE.     Emily Tinoco, a junior guard, has emerged as a dynamic presence in Kansas high school basketball. She can effectively play both the shooting guard and the point guard positions. Tinoco has phenomenal from beyond the 3 point line. She can do more than score, she contributes significantly on defense and in quarterbacking the offense making her a well-rounded asset to her team. As she continues to develop her skills, Tinoco is poised to make a substantial impact this summer and beyond.     [player_tooltip player_id='982105' first='Taegan' last='Eskam'], a 5'7" guard, is a strong and versatile player who contributes to her team in various ways. Taegan has the skills and basketball IQ to be either the point or shooting guard, making her very versatile on the court. With great court vision and decision-making skills, she is very effective at orchestrating the offense, while her quickness and defensive tenacity make her a pest on the defensive end. As she continues to develop her skills, Eskam is poised to be a key contributor for WKE this Summer.
