We have some downtime before the next live period begins in June. At that time, I'd like to catch up and highlight some players I haven't had the chance to see because I haven't seen them or for any other reason. We'll probably do this to end the month today and tomorrow.

[player_tooltip player_id='777576' first='Kensington' last='Rosenow']

The Mishicot guard played in the state tournament in her first season. However, Rosenow's Mishicot hasn't been on the premier units. Regardless, Rosenow has been a productive player in the Big East-North in her three seasons. She's a skilled lead guard who can handle the ball under pressure and get her teammates open looks around the basket. She's been a solid shooter with her [program_tooltip program_id='713038' first='Wisconsin' last='Blaze'] group this past spring and will be someone WIAC programs are interested in.

[player_tooltip player_id='915005' first='Courtney' last='Monroe']

The Mount Horeb guard may be the most undervalued lead guard in the 2027 class. Mount Horeb's offense was choppy last season, but any possession that started or ended with [player_tooltip player_id='915005' first='Courtney' last='Monroe'] was consistently the best possession the Vikings had in a game. The Mount Horeb native may not accumulate stats like some of the premier guards in Wisconsin, but when the ball is in her hands, her team runs good offense, which is what you'd want out of your lead guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='751282' first='Rose' last='Mussoline']

The Whitefish Bay guard is an end-of-rotation kid for the Blue Dukes. However, Mussoline is a vital member of her [program_tooltip program_id='713043' first='Wisconsin' last='Impact'] 16U EYCL group, who has consistently punched above their weight. Mussoline does an excellent job moving the ball within her team's offense and making the right reads whenever the ball is in her hands. The Whitefish Bay native is a solid spot-shooter who can punish defenses whenever they allow her space and attack the basket when she sees a lane to get downhill and finish at the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='883074' first='Liliana' last='Verplancke']

Verplancke's Grafton group is an intriguing unit. The Grafton native is their lone true frontcourt kid, and she does a solid job in that role. She's an undersized forward but adds defensive versatility with her foot speed and physicality. She has a solid motor, rebounds out of her area, finishes around the basket, and can defend multiple positions. There is plenty of room for her to grow as a player, but her effort and defensive versatility will be things that will intrigue coaches at the next level and draw some interest over time.
