Butler creates offense out of her relentless defense. The 8th-grader is quick and consistently wins 50/50s. She ties up the ball handler to force the jump and dives to the floor for the loose ball. She uses a strong boxout to draw the foul after securing the defensive rebound. She made a huge transition 2v1 defensive stop. Butler takes care of the ball, pushes the pace, and attacks the lane. She absorbs the contact as she finishes at the rim in transition. She can get downhill in the halfcourt set with crafty footwork and finish the contested layup.
