The Tualatin girls play with a standard of excellence, and Padilla’s tough and fundamentally sound style of play exemplifies that. She is comfortable spacing the floor, and when she catches the ball on the perimeter, she is dangerous as a dribble driver. Her post-ups show promise, and her go-to move is a turnaround jumper pivoting left. She fights hard on the offensive glass, which is always a translatable skill to the next level. Portland State fans should be excited about the addition of Padilla, who committed in November.

In the opening game of league play versus Lake Oswego, she put up a complete game with 8 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks, and in a recent huge test against Oregon City, Padilla had a crucial 12 points and 5 rebounds to help secure the win. In her increased role, Padilla will continue to shine the rest of this season.
