The PGH Indiana State Tourney was held this past weekend in Warsaw, Indiana, at Warsaw Community High School. Below is a quick rundown of the 14U, 13U, and 12U combined division, with a list of the teams and how they fared, along with an All-Tournament team of five ladies, plus an additional Honorable Mention All-Tournament list.

Kya Brandt, 2029, 5-8 CG, Leipsic H.S. (OH), Findlay Bombers 14U
- Kya is a nice, intriguing young guard who should undoubtedly make an impact as a Freshman during the 2025-2026 season. She has length, a wiry-strong frame, and she's a North/South athlete who likes to get out and push the ball in transition. She is probably best as a lead guard, because she is somewhat creative and likes to play off the bounce, but she is also capable of playing off the ball and finding open rhythm jumpers.

Gabby Carson, 2029, 6-1 C, Buchanan H.S. (MI), Soil 14U
- Gabby is the younger sister of Faith Carson (Ohio State / Grand Canyon). Gabby has a great deal of upside, and she should make an immediate impact at Buchanan as a Freshman. She has nice length, a solid/strong frame, plus she plays hard and runs the floor well. She has some post moves over either shoulder, and she's only going to get better with time and additional work. I'm also assuming she could still grow 2-3 inches.

Alexxa Amstutz, 2030, 5-2 CG, East Noble H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='714264' first='OPS' last=''] Future 13U
- This OPS Future group is a solid team, and when I was able to see them, I felt like Alexxa stood out because of her constant activity and her ability to affect the game in different ways. She was able to play point guard, push the ball in transition, and get by defenders to score at the basket. When she wasn't handling, she was still running the floor and receiving outlets. Defensively, she was scrappy, plus she has some strength at her age and will rebound.

[player_tooltip player_id='1247723' first='Quinnlyn' last='Pickett'], 2030, 5-8 G/W, Blackhawk Christian School, FW Lady Braves 14U
- To begin with, Quinnlyn is an intriguing young prospect because she is long, wiry-strong, fluidly athletic, and looks like she'll grow. When you consider her genetics, and the fact her brother is 6-10, versatile, skilled, and headed to Wright State in the Fall to play hoops, the future is that much brighter for Quinnlyn. I feel like as she finishes growing and developing her skillset, she could wind up being roughly a 6-0 guard with the ability to dribble, pass, and shoot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1231525' first='Bristol' last='Morris'], 2031, 5-7 CG, Homestead H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='714264' first='OPS' last=''] Future 12U
- As if Homestead wasn't loaded enough, Bristol is another future Spartan who has a great deal of potential. She is extremely long and wiry, fluid and smooth athletically, plus she has a skillset. This weekend she showed the ability to handle the ball and play point guard, create off the dribble, while also scoring it around the basket. At the same time, she was also an effective scorer at each level. Look for her to only grow and improve these next couple of years.
