Sunday marked the final day of the 2025 PGH Indiana State Tournament. There were 28 teams on hand for the event, with a number of nice small college prospects in attendance in the upper age groups, along with some very intriguing youngsters making some noise as well. Below is a quick recap of a few 17U & 16U performers who stood out when I was able to see them throughout Sunday's action.

[player_tooltip player_id='647304' first='Skylar' last='Collinsworth'], 2026, 5-4 CG, Madison Central H.S. (KY), [program_tooltip program_id='712782' first='Richmond' last='Heat'] 17U
- Skylar's team wasn't necessarily feeling it Sunday morning, but she was. The smaller guard was aggressive and accurate from the perimeter, showing off deep range and a smooth jumper. Whether she was facing man or zone, she kept finding herself open and was willing to put it up. She does have some strength at her size, she is quick as well, and she did a solid job acting as a facilitator when she wasn't able to shoot.

Zamiah Garth, 2026, 5-5 CG, Hazel Green H.S. (AL), LAC Ballers 17U
- Zamiah stood out to me on a team filled with smaller guards. She has a fairly strong, athletic frame, and she is a nice athlete in most directions as well. She is quick and shifty off the bounce, and she did a nice job of understanding when to attack, when to move the ball, and when to slow down and have a great, efficient possession. She is skilled handling it, shooting it from different areas, plus she's a good defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='730754' first='Casey' last='Schuessler'], 2026, 5-8 W, Lafayette Central Catholic H.S., Indiana Showcase White 17U
- Casey seems to fit into different lineups pretty effortlessly because she is a versatile wing who can do a little of everything. She has nice length, and she is a fluid athlete. She has the skill to put it on the floor and attack the basket or knock down open rhythm jumpers from the perimeter. Sunday, I really enjoyed her ability to earn free throw trips, plus she was good on the boards and defending, whether she was on or off the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='624885' first='Miley' last='Wareing'], 2026, 6-1 F/C, Fort Wayne Northrop H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='714264' first='OPS' last=''] UA Rise 17U
- I have mentioned recently about Miley's return from a June 2024 knee injury, and she took her rehab very seriously. She played during much of the Winter, plus she has looked leaner and more explosive this Spring. She used to be an overpowering post, but now she is starting to show some skill and versatility in the mid-post. As she continues to expand her game, watch out, because she is a more than capable athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='1137345' first='Carly' last='Stevens'], 2027, 5-6 CG, Christian Academy of Indiana, [program_tooltip program_id='805349' first='Indiana' last='Prospects'] 16U
- This was my first time seeing Carly in-person, and she is a very intriguing Southern Indiana guard. She has nice length, fluid athleticism, speed & quickness, plus she's skilled with the ball. She can get out and go in transition, initiate the offense in the half-court, or she can play off the ball and act as a scorer. She has a solid jumper outside, she can slice to the basket off the dribble, plus she has some touch in the mid-range.
