[player_tooltip player_id='1003136' first='Skylar' last='Wilson'] (cover photo) was out there balling and got to see with her age group and she played up this weekend as well. Was really impressed by the play of Skyler. Wilson stood out against her 2029 peers and she was also one of the most dominant player in the 9th grade game I saw as well. Wilson was relentless on the defensive end playing the passing lanes and playing physical against the older guards. She was equally impressive on attacking the rim and getting to the free-throw line. Wilson is a selfless play maker who keeps her head up and can pass the ball. The most impressive part of her game was her three point shooting. She shot the ball very well and had the ability to score the three in flurries.

[player_tooltip player_id='1245631' first='Kennedy' last='Jones'] was really impressive on Saturday and she has grown significantly since I last saw her in the summer league. Jones has heart and has some game. She has good quickness, and can stop on a dime. Jones also has great hands and the can snag the ball out of the air. Her ability to change directions allows her to get into the painted area and unleash the sweet floater. Jones also had a few nice three pointers from the top of the key with picture perfect form. Defensively, she was all over ball handlers. She cut off their angles to the rim and caused handlers to pick up their dribble. She also played in the passing lanes and was able to get a lot of steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1246266' first='Tonya' last='Young'] was a player who epitomized the word "young" this past weekend, but she doesn't play like a 7th grader. Young impressed with a sweet turn around jumper and rejected a few shot attempts in the paint. Young was very active on the boards and rebounded well on both ends of the floor. She snagged rebounds out of the air and actively pursued the ball. She has good length, moves well, and is athletic. That equates to a player to keep an eye on. She is touted to be one of the top players in the 2030 class and after seeing her this past weekend - no argument here!

[player_tooltip player_id='1246271' first='Carsyn' last='Palmer'] was an impressive young guard and the one thing who showed an ability to put the ball in the basket. Palmer shot the ball well in the mid-range area and had a few nice jumpers from behind the arc. She was very aggressive attacking the rim and had some nice scores on the drive to the basket. The young Palmer was also selfless and had some nice assists on the break and to cutting teammates. Defensively, Palmer played the passing lanes well and had a few steals to show for it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1246251' first='Tiarra' last='Redding'] was an impressive young prospect at the Brawl. While her overall game is still in the development stages, her athleticism, and ability to get to the rim and score were very impressive. Her defensive ability and physicality are already at a high level. She can cover out on the perimeter and can body up on players on the inside. Redding rebounds well from the guard position and can push the ball up the court after grabbing the rebound. break off of the rebound. and her defensive abilities all stand out. Redding's upside is off the charts and the young and physical guard has the ability to be special and dominant when it's all said and done.

[player_tooltip player_id='1246253' first='Jordyn' last='Brooks'] played well on Saturday, showcasing an ability to handle the ball and maneuver on the court. Brooks has the ability top change directions and get to the rim and consistently score. Brooks also did a good job of playing lock down defense on the ball.
