The 2026 class will draw the majority of focus from small schools in the state. Today, I'd like to highlight a handful of prospects who could help small schools at the next level in different ways and highlight them before the month ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='636142' first='Maddie' last='Gratz']

The Darlington wing doesn't play grassroots basketball, but she has the talent to play at the next level. Gratz is a versatile kid who can play inside and out and has been a versatile kid for a solid Darlington team the last few seasons. Her ability to shoot will also help at the next level if she wants to continue playing at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='932701' first='Kiera' last='Place']

The Sun Prairie native is an athletic kid who can defend multiple positions on the perimeter. Place is a talented wing defender who's impressed me each time I've seen her play. I like looking for translatable skills in kids at high school games, and Place has the potential to be an excellent defender at the next level. Her ability to switch and defend inside and out will help her get onto the floor wherever she lands at the next level. She doesn't have a prominent name in the state but can make an impact at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='842235' first='Mallory' last='Glysch']

The Muskego wing has become an indispensable kid within the Warrior program. After playing JV basketball a few years ago, Glysch was a significant contributor to a Muskego team that went to the state title game last season. Her ability to shoot the ball from the perimeter opens the floor for her teammates. Glysch has also become a solid team defender within her Muskego team's 1-3-1 zone and helped her team generate live ball turnovers. Her development has been fun to watch over the last few years, and she'll have a place to play at the next level if she wants to keep playing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1227459' first='Savanna' last='Miller']

The Port Washington wing has put her name on the radar over the last few months. Her shooting and ability to move the ball suits what her [program_tooltip program_id='713043' first='Wisconsin' last='Impact'] team wants to do on the offensive end, and Miller's ability to shoot fits that 17U EYCL group. Miller has also looked solid on the defensive end. She'll be someone who'll field some calls from programs at the next level. She could be an early, sneaky, and impactful kid at the next level.
