As of today, the Spring "live" periods for 2025 are now complete. "The Classic" event in Louisville, Kentucky, this past weekend was beneficial to spend a lot of attention on a variety of teams/programs who were in attendance. Below is a look at a half dozen prospects I saw Sunday who I thought stood out for one reason or another in the games I was able to see.

[player_tooltip player_id='874337' first='Jenna' last='Berg'], 2026, 5-7 G, Forest Park H.S., DistinXion Champions Black 17U
- After watching Jenna play a couple of times this weekend, I think she could be a really nice small college "sleeper". She doesn't try to be flashy or seem to want the spotlight pointed on herself. However, she is a nice athlete with some length, she has a wiry-strong frame, and she plays with a nice motor. She is steady when she handles the ball, she has nice touch from the perimeter when set and in rhythm, and she is a willing and capable defender who can defend on or off the ball effectively.

Natalie Gagnon, 2026, 5-7 G, Charlestown H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='714250' first='Indiana' last='Pride'] Xtreme 17U
- Charlestown has a really nice 2027 class right now with a couple of very good point guards, so Natalie doesn't always get to play on the ball for the Pirates. But this weekend she handled it quite a bit for her Pride team. She has really nice length, she's a North/South fast athlete, and she always seems to play hard. She has gotten noticeably stronger in the last year, and that has helped her absorb contact when on attack, but she has also become a more physical defender/rebounder because of it.

[player_tooltip player_id='486476' first='Shaylyn' last='Hawk'], 2026, 5-7 G, Washington H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='714250' first='Indiana' last='Pride'] Attack 17U
- This Spring has been Shay's biggest exposure to the grassroots scene, and she has performed very well at times. I really like her demeanor, because when she makes a mistake, she doesn't get distracted and tends to then make a nice play seconds later. She has a strong, athletic frame, really nice touch from the perimeter, and a good all-around feel for the game. She is a nice scoring option, but she can also facilitate a little and is unselfish, plus she'll get gritty to rebound and defend at that end.

[player_tooltip player_id='949526' first='Olivia' last='Conklin'], 2027, 5-7 G, Yorktown H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='716173' first='Always' last='100'] Skills 16U
- The way Olivia progresses from month to month, year to year, you can tell she spends a lot of time in the gym working on her skillset. This weekend she handled pressure better, but it was her jumper that was noticeably improved. It wasn't just the consistency, as she has always shot it well, but her shot process is quicker, and her range has extended as well. She has also gotten a lot stronger, almost overpowering at times for a guard. She is a balanced athlete, and she plays with a competitive motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='751067' first='Haven' last='Middleton'], 2027, 5-3 PG, Brownsburg H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='1002317' first='Indiana' last='Showcase Red'] 16U
- Haven is another guard who has improved significantly since last Summer. She is smallish, but she has some wiry strength at her size, she's tough-nosed and feisty, plus she has speed, quickness, and a constant motor. She has become a really nice vocal leader who ensures her teammates are aware, but she can also contribute as a passer or a shooter/scorer offensively. She does a really nice job of getting gaps and finding open teammates in positions to score, and she has improved her defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='932690' first='Sadey' last='Ringler'], 2027, 5-8 G, West Lafayette Harrison H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='712570' first='Indiana's' last='Best'] 16U
- Like many girls who transition from their Freshman to Sophomore year, Sadey has improved her strength and her athleticism in most directions. She has nice length, an athletic frame, and she plays with a strong motor. Last year I felt like she settled for jumpers a bit too often, but this year she looks to be constantly on attack. She still shoots a good ball from the perimeter when open and in rhythm, but she is getting to the basket and drawing contact well. She's also a competitive defender.
