Sadey Ringler
About Sadey
Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Sadey has turned herself into a really nice small college prospect who can “fit” many types of environments. She has an athletic frame, some length, and she’s a nice North/South attacker. In fact, her best attribute is attacking the basket and finishing through contact. She does have a solid midrange game as well, but she’ll need to continue adding a consistent 3-point shot. She plays hard, defends with effort, rebounds her position well, and does a lot of the “little things” other girls don’t want to do. I think she could be a very nice “culture” type of kid for a small college program.

Sadey is an extremely smooth wing guard, and she had every bit as strong of a day as she has consistently shown throughout this Spring. She has some length, speed & quickness, and the ability to get that first step and attack the basket to score. At the same time, she has some touch around the perimeter, but her mid-range jumper is considerably accurate. I also like her steady approach and her quiet toughness, as she applies that at the defensive end.

I first saw Sadey in May and added her to our watch list in June. She has an athletic frame, nice length, and she has some North/South speed. She is a catch-and-shoot guard with nice touch from the perimeter. She has started to attack the basket more, and she is strong enough now to absorb contact better. Sadey plays with a motor, she will chase down rebounds, and she can defend multiple positions. I think as she grows her game, if she can be a bit more dynamic off the bounce and defend smaller water-bugs better, it will help.
