2026 Rankings Update: Newcomers

The upcoming senior class is stacked with talent, however, we have some new players added to the fold. Here are some that gained our attention heading into the summer session.    Maya has good length that makes her effective on both ends of the floor. She is a good on ball defender that is active in harassing the ball handler and creating turnovers. She has a nice midrange pull-up jumper and the ability to score from beyond the arc.     Layla has a strong solid frame and gets good position inside. She has soft hands to catch and finish and is able to do it on the run in transition. She runs the floor at a steady pace staying with the flow of the game and is an exceptional shot blocker.     Tumi is long and athletic and has and intimidating look to opponents looking to attack her. She can make shots by the basket but is more of a rebounder than scorer. She has the physical tools to manage several positions and a solid summer of playing and training can define what position will fit her best at the next level.     McKenzie has showed to be an active rebounder and shot blocker. She has good timing with the ability to get into position and get her arms up without fouling. If she doesn't get the block she alters the shot enough to create a miss and rebound for her team.     Gabby fit in as both a newcomer and stock riser rising up to 80 spots to #90 after the rankings posted. She has range to knock down the three off the catch and she can manufacture her own offense from creating steals on defense. She has quick hands and finishes well in transition.
