The latest iteration for the 2027 class rankings were posted the other day. There was a lot of movement within the class from the last update, but today the topic at hand are some players that shouldn't be forgotten about. Although typically positional articles are what's expected at this point, it's important to highlight other talented players in the class. Below are a few more '27 players not to overlook. This is a follow-up or rather the second part to an article posted last night.

Layla has the capability to be that spark scorer that can help lift her team up when they're in need. She has great shooting upside that allows her to put up points fast when she gets hot. Rivera moves well and is extremely strong-willed with the ball in her hand. Currently ranked within the top 100, it wouldn't be surprising to see her move up after the AAU season concludes.

The stretch 5 has all the potential in the world, it's just about putting all the tools together with her. She has stretches where she absolutely looks like she's one of the best players on the floor. With a bit more consistency, Loum Smith can easily be a name that climbs the charts. Her size in combination with tough long-range shot making and stable defense makes her a prospect to keep an eye on.

An excellent help-side defender and someone who's showing steady improvement on the offensive end each time watching her, Moore is one of the more solid bigs in the class. Her effort combined with the high IQ allow her to perform at a high-level through the course of tough games. Not only is she a presence in halfcourt play, but Emma runs the floor pretty well too. She's coming in as the #4th ranked at her position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225327' first='Ava' last='Vitti'] (2027) | PF/SF | Bay State Jags

Vitti is a tenacious 2-way force that's such an effective connective piece to her team's success. She's one of those players that deserves a lot more credit for what she does on the floor. Ava doesn't take away from others on offense, but she makes sure to capitalize on the opportunities she gets, especially from the midrange. She also makes the right passes and they're on time. Securing rebounds is something Ava could do in her sleep; it translates on both sides of the ball too. Her innate ability to grab boards gives opposing coach's nightmares when looking at the stat-sheet after the game. Defensively, Vitti is active from many areas on the floor. She's there to provide backup on missed coverages and is the backbone to the stable defense her mighty Jags team regularly exercises. Ava is a player to keep an eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id='949570' first='Lexy' last='Rogers'] (2027) | 5'7 SG | New England Crusaders

A player with fantastic speed and finishing ability at the rim. Rogers is most prominent as a defender though. One that generates turnovers in no time that then equal points at the other end. Her havoc-causing nature and pure blitzing speed make her a dangerous threat in transition or press plays. Rogers can raise the tempo at any point, in any game. She's one of the best at forcing steals and playing the passing lane within the class.
