2028 Rankings: Guards You Need to Know

guard in this class, and it'd be difficult to find someone who thinks that isn't a true statement.  She was averaging well over 30 points her freshman season, but that's not because she just shoots the ball all the time.  She plays smart basketball creating the open looks for herself with her ball handling, and she knows the right time to put up her shot or make the dish to her teammates.  She's tough on defense, too, especially playing on-ball defense picking the pocket of her opponents.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block same composure no matter what is going on in the game.  She handles the ball well bringing it up the court always keeping her eyes peeled for the next best play.  Her ability to handle the ball calmly under pressure is definitely an asset and shows a lot of leadership even at a young age.  That calmness is evident whenever she shows off her shot from deep, too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- hawk coming up with steals and doing whatever she can to gain the possession for her team.  She's explosive getting up the court with ease whether she is handling the ball herself or finding the open lane looking for the pass.  She is constantly moving on both ends of the court making sure she's in the perfect position to make a play showing off her already high IQ.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- last='Rorie'] for years already, and she continues to get better and better.  She's been playing against tough competition since her middle school age because she handles the ball well no matter who is guarding her, and she is feisty on defense knowing how to pick the pocket of her opponents.  She gets to the rim easily finishing on both sides and making the right adjustments to make sure the
