[player_tooltip player_id='1255609' first='Emily' last='Tanny'] of [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 2029 EYBL has been a standout leader this Spring AAU season for her program, priming her for a big month of June back with her Wahlert Catholic program. Tanny should receive the nod to play Varsity right off the bat starting this Winter. She is a force in the middle that is recording high statistics in game in the categories of scoring, rebounding, and defending the painted area. It's been a successful few months for Tanny. As long as she can build on that, she is going to be someone we hear more and more about as time goes on.

There is a lot to like about [player_tooltip player_id='1226688' first='Ashlynn' last='Long'] and her play-style. When Long has confidence, she is a very thorough shooter of the basketball. She possesses a fundamental base to build on for her age and that's all you can ask for. The Long family name is one we have heard for years now on the girl's Varsity floor and that trend is about to continue over the next four years with Ashlynn. If she can use this year to really get her feet underneath her, she is going to love the results that follow in the future.

Like we have said in the past Ankeny Centennial is going to need to rebuild over the next few seasons. They lose most of their production from years past and so there will be ample opportunity. Someone who could step up is [player_tooltip player_id='880919' first='Faith' last='Perpich'] at the guard spot. Over the years Perpich will be a household name within this system but we will see if that starts this Winter or not. She possesses all the intangibles to produce at a better than average rate for her age-level. She just needs to stay mentally locked in at the goal at hand. If she does that, she will be just fine.

Clear Lake High School is on the up and up these past few years and that is not going to change any time soon. They continue to bring in impressive and deep Classes, that will impact their future for years to come. Someone out of their 2029 Class with some respectable talent is PG, [player_tooltip player_id='1218124' first='Maddison' last='Riser']. Riser has a fast handle, quick feet, natural athleticism, understandable knowledge of the game, and a higher motor than most. When she gets going downhill, she is incredibly tough to stop. Especially in transition. As long as the CL system works, these next few years we are going to hear a lot about what they are bringing to the hardwood.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224390' first='Natalia' last='Sandoval'] should play up at the Sophomore/JV level this Winter with the Jaguars of Ankeny Centennial. Sandoval, who is a great leader and crafty PG, is going to be able to lead whatever group she is on the floor with. She competes with great pace of play and she really understands how to control the tempo of the contest. Defensively, she gets after it. She is determined in getting consistent stops on the opponent in front of her and that is noticeable. It's going to be a process but I like Sandoval as a hooper. She does great things for her age level and she has a smart head on her shoulders. Something that is going to take her a long ways in this sport.
