Ferris Team Camp - Post Presence - Take 1

The Ferris Team Camp brought together a wide range of talented girls basketball teams, creating a competitive atmosphere filled with high-level play. Throughout the camp, the post players stood out, consistently making noise with their impact in the paint. Whether it was controlling the glass, protecting the rim, or scoring with strong footwork and post moves, these athletes showed just how important the inside game can be. Their physical presence and smart decision-making played a key role in their teams' success, proving that the post position remains a difference-maker in girls basketball.    Alexandria had a strong showing at the Ferris Team Camp, standing out with her all-around effort and versatility. She crashed the boards with intensity on both ends of the floor, grabbing key rebounds and turning second chances into points with some timely put-backs. Offensively, she showed confidence in her mid-range game, knocking down jumpers with a smooth touch. What really set her apart was her ability to secure a defensive rebound and immediately look to push the tempo, showing poise and control as a play starter in transition.     One half of McBain's talented sister duo, Ahnica made a strong impression at the Ferris Team Camp with her physical presence in the paint. She consistently sealed off defenders to establish deep post position, giving her team high-percentage looks around the rim. A force on the offensive glass, Ahnica created extra possessions and stayed aggressive, which led to her spending plenty of time at the free throw line. Her toughness and ability to finish through contact made her a key contributor throughout camp.     The other half of McBain's dynamic twin duo, Ashlyn brought skill and finesse to the court at the Ferris Team Camp. She impressed with her sharp footwork around the basket, creating space and finishing plays with both hands. Ashlyn showed great touch in the paint and a calm presence under pressure, making her a reliable scoring option inside. She also rebounded with determination, consistently pulling down boards to help her team control the tempo and secure extra possessions.     Dy'Nasti, a powerful post player for Muskegon, was dominant in the paint throughout the Ferris Team Camp. She controlled the low block with strength and skill, finishing through contact, grabbing tough rebounds, and making her presence felt on both ends of the court. Her ability to own the interior and impact the game consistently caught the attention of coaches, earning her a well-deserved offer for her standout performance.     Elliana, who suits up for Cedar Springs, put together an impressive showing at the Ferris Team Camp. She seems to elevate her game every time she steps on the floor, and this camp was no exception. Elliana made her presence known defensively with multiple shot blocks and battled hard in the paint to establish deep position. She finished through contact for a few and-ones and stayed active on the boards, securing rebounds on both ends of the court. Her consistent growth and impact around the rim were clear all camp long.     Savannah, a standout post player for Davison, turned heads with her strong performance at the Ferris Team Camp. She showed excellent timing on defense, coming up with multiple blocks that disrupted opponents' rhythm in the paint. Offensively, Savannah displayed solid footwork around the basket, allowing her to create space and finish with confidence. Her presence on both ends made her a key contributor throughout the camp.
