Savannah, a standout post player for Davison, turned heads with her strong performance at the Ferris Team Camp. She showed excellent timing on defense, coming up with multiple blocks that disrupted opponents’ rhythm in the paint. Offensively, Savannah displayed solid footwork around the basket, allowing her to create space and finish with confidence. Her presence on both ends made her a key contributor throughout the camp.

Savannah was a dominant forward for Davison at the Swartz Creek Summer League. In game one, Savannah scored offensive rebound put backs, went back door to score a layup, and stepped outside to bury a straightaway three-pointer. She kept the ball rolling in game two, dropping in a contested floater off the glass and draining another three-pointer from the corner. Savannah took a defensive rebound the length of the floor to score a contested transition layup and sealed her defender to score a strong-and-one layup. Savannah blocked shots, scored offensive rebound put-backs, and used a nice drop-step pivot to finish a left-handed layup off the glass. Savannah led all scorers with 19 points. She is very effective playing out of the high post and making reads in the Princeton system. Savannah is an excellent face-up forward who can drive, cut back door, stretch her game outside, and roll to the basket off screens.

Savannah is a 6-footer from Davison who made big strides this past high school season. She flashed potential with her footwork, shot blocking, rebounding presence, and face-up driving ability. Savannah has developed her mid to outside range and will hit 3-pointers when she’s open. I expect the colleges who come this weekend to see the next-level appeal in Savannah’s game when they watch her at the Cagers Invitational.

Savannah had impressive stretches for Davison at the SVSU MLK Classic, nearly reaching a double-double. Savannah made an accurate overhead entry pass from up top to a cutting teammate for an assist and hustled back in transition to block a shot attempt. She converted multiple layups off two feet in the paint, scored through a foul, and added a soft floater off the glass using a drop step. Savannah scored 13 points, with 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 blocks.

Savannah had moments of dominance as a sophomore and she appears ready to take a quantum leap for Davison as a junior. Savannah has demonstrated improvement in her ball-handling, shooting, footwork, and finishing. She has been a strong presence as a shot blocker and scorer in the paint during fall league. Savannah is starting to become a consistent threat for the Cardinals and I expect her to be an All-Conference level post player in the SVL this season.

Savannah had a couple good matchups against other post players at the Cage Fall League Sunday and she performed very well. Savannah pushed the ball with her dribble and scored a runner using a high-rip move. She hit multiple turnaround floaters off two in the paint and aggressively protected the rim as a shot-blocker. Savannah converted a tough contested layup and played effective defense on Sunday.

Savannah is a center prospect who towered over others at Upside and showed progress in her game since the winter season. Savannah made an accurate bounce pass assist during 2v1, blocked a shot in the paint during 5v5, and dribbled the ball full court into the paint for scoring looks. She scored two effective pivot turnaround floaters over defenders, used a high pick-up move on her drive, and scored a strong and-one layup off the dribble.
