The Maryland Basketball Coaches Association held their annual Live Period event over the weekend at River Hill High School in Howard County. Any college coaches looking to add size to their program might want to take a look at the following prospects.

Makayla Kropfelder, Broadneck, 2026, Center

Makayla is a solid 6'3" post with the ability to finish with both hands. She showed off good footwork and controlled the boards for her team in both games. She is still looking for her first college offer. She can definitely help a D2 or D3 program.

Audrey Appiah, CH Flowers, 2028, Center

Audrey is a legit 6'3" freshmen post with a ton of potential. Despite her size she has nimble feet and is really quick. She's super physical and looks to dish out contact in the post area. There is a ton of potential here.

[player_tooltip player_id='1230285' first='Qadence' last='David'], Pikesville, 2028, Power Forward

Qaidence didn't put up big numbers on offense due to limited touches, but she was definitely a factor is Pikesville's two wins. She was a physical presence in the paint, moving bodies around and setting good screens for her teammates. She was strong on defense, blocking multiple shots and clearing the boards to close out possessions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1056908' first='Eva' last='Weller'], Leonardtown, 2026, Forward

Eva is a long, athletic, and versatile forward who put up double figures in scoring in both games on the day. She ran the floor hard and caused some match up problems for the defense with her ability to put the ball on the floor. She's a good passer and she went hard on defense. She is still looking for the right college fit.

Adrianna Short, Oakland Mills, 2027, Center

Adrianna is a bit raw and still a project at this point, but she has made some progress since the high school season. At 6'1" she is long and has exceptional athleticism. She moved with more confidence and asserted herself on the glass in the game that I watched. She's one to keep an eye on.
