I really like Qaidence’s combination of length and athleticism, and college coaches are starting to pay attention as well. She was instrumental in Pikesville’s state championship run, making key contributions with her ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Although we missed her at The Summit Showcase, the reports on her continued progress have been very positive. With her physical tools, motor, and developing skill set, Qaidence has positioned herself as a player whose stock should continue to rise.

Qaidence showed a knack for being in the right place at the right time. She was a menace on the offensive glass and finished the day with five “and 1” opportunities. She showed off a nice touch around the basket and her jumper looked good as well.

Qaidence had a few stretches of straight domination over the weekend. She scored quite a few buckets off put backs around the rim and showed some nice post moves. Her bread and butter move was a simple catch and fade away jumper that showed off her touch. She is capable of knocking down threes as well so look for her offers to take a jump this summer.

“Q” was ready to go in this one. She prowled the paint looking to block and alter shots and ran the floor. She worked the offensive glass and got her team a few extra possessions from her efforts. She showed off her range with a couple of three-pointers and scored off a nice put back tap in.

Qaidence turned in a strong double-double performance with 12 points and 10 rebounds. She used her size and athleticism to shoot over smaller defenders and was hard to stop in the paint. She’s playing with a ton of confidence and has really developed her shot range to out past the three-point line.
