The next four or five days will be busy with Wisconsin's Elite Camp on Thursday morning and afternoon, followed by Summer Jam from this Friday to Sunday. I want to spend the next two days highlighting some kids I haven't discussed enough during the AAU season to my liking. At the end of the month, we'll highlight some names from around the state to know as we inch closer to the end of the AAU season.

The Hudson rising sophomore had some moments that made me raise my eyebrows this season. She's a physical wing who can score at every level and played a role for a talented Raider team last season. Bartz has the potential to excel in a Hudson jersey because she plays with a talented group of kids who can get the best out of her. She can defend multiple positions, be a catch-and-shoot shooter on the perimeter, and attack mismatches around the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='882565' first='Lexi' last='Gruman']

The Random Lake guard missed last season due to a knee injury. However, Gruman is a kid who could surprise people next season. The Ram is a skilled guard who can create off the dribble. Her ability to beat her initial defender off the dribble and get downhill with a numerical advantage is when she looks her best. Gruman is a kid who makes the best out of any situation she's in, and her ability to beat defenders off the dribble creates chances for her to get the ball to open teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='509689' first='Alana' last='Mainville']

The New Berlin native is a talented defender who can guard multiple positions. The Ike wing is a physical kid who can move her feet laterally on the perimeter and has the physicality to defend kids under the basket. Mainville's calling card is on the defensive end of the floor. However, she has some skill on the offensive end. Mainville could be a solid floor spacer at the next level and has the motor to get second-chance points around the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='932701' first='Kiera' last='Place']

The Sun Prairie native is a talented defensive prospect who could be a steal for someone at the next level. Place is a versatile kid who can switch one through four at the high school level and is competitive enough to defend some fives if that situation arises. She's a kid whose coaches might love watching if they take the time to watch her play.
