Lebanon Team Camp Day 3 Highlights

Since the girls got a few games under their belt, a lot of them were able to settle down and get into a groove. Not to say they were out of sync, but you could definitely tell there was a comfort level among the teams on the floor. This 3-day event was fantastic, and there were plenty of prospects on the floor who were showcasing their skills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Say what you want to about school or even travel ball at that. Both serve and are very significant, and you can see how both can go hand in hand. Looking at the team camp from a 30,000 ft view, those who hooped travel ball-wise were ahead of those who didn't do too much. I mean, they were more physical, faster, stronger, and the way they carried themselves, you could tell they were on a mission. She plays the game with relentless energy, and she helps spark runs for the Lady Burros ballclub. It could come from defense stops or knocking it down from multiple spots on the floor. This young lady is aggressive, and her style of play fits right in with what her HC wants. Eboni can do it all, and this past season, she was an important piece to her team. Doesn't matter from where on the floor, the ball always seems to find the bottom of the net. She can play multiple positions, but it's how she impacts the game that really stands out. She's a heady ballplayer who doesn't force the issue, but knows when to strike to even get more. Check all the statistical boxes; this kid is going to hit all the marks. This kid has a little sauce to her game. She isn't flamboyant or anything. Just an athletic kid who can handle the ball and make split-second decisions. She can utilize her quick first step to get into the paint, there, it could be a floater or a dump down or kick, either way, it's the right play for the occasion. She's tough defensively, not afraid to sit down and guard to create turnovers. She had a coming-out party all last year and was really on display during the state tournament round. She can score the basketball, drop dimes to her teammates, and is truly a tough competitor. She's comfortable on the floor, doesn't get rattled, and plays with poise. She's battletested and time and time again, she is willing to accept whatever challenge lies in front of her. She's not scared of no smoke, and when the lights come on, she's there waiting for the competition. This kid plays with a lot of confidence, and you can tell in how she lets it ride from deep. She's comfortable out there on the floor, and if she has an opening, that ball is going to fly. Though she is known for her shooting touch, she can and will put the ball on the floor to create. Her game has grown over the years and has yet to reach its peak.
