Five-foot-11 power forward [player_tooltip player_id='832069' first='Hazel' last='Pepperling'] jumped up to No. 6 in the class of 2027 rankings. I've covered Pepperling not once or twice, but three times over the past six months. Here are five other prospects who moved up in the class of 2027 rankings, including [player_tooltip player_id='839059' first='Karlee' last='Martirano'], who broke the top ten list this time around:

West Albany 5-foot-9 combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='839059' first='Karlee' last='Martirano'] is a two-way player and three-level scorer. The rising junior (2027) hits the catch-and-shoot three, sinks the turnaround jumper, and finishes strong at the rim. Martirano has a quick first step to beat her defender on the perimeter. She pushes the pace and has good vision and passing in transition. She is a great on-ball defender and jumps the passing lane for the pick-six. In her sophomore season, Martirano averaged 15.5 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists per game and was named to the Second Team in the Mid-Willamette Conference, Oregon's most competitive 5A league. Martirano continued to develop her game with FBC Oregon Tropics and turned heads at competitive tournaments across the nation this spring. She's been hooping during high school summer ball, putting up double-doubles. Martirano and the Bulldogs will be a contender for the 5A state championship this upcoming season.

FBC Oregon Tropics 5-foot-6 combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='926278' first='Breeci' last='Hampton'] is quick with a strong frame, can bring up the ball against competitive pressure, drain the deep pull-up three, and hit clutch free throws. The Stayton rising junior (2027) averaged 13.5 points (shooting 44% from three), 4.3 assists, and 2 steals per game her sophomore season. When Hampton plays in her flow and with confidence she's a hooper. The 4A state champion could run it back with Stayton next season.

[program_tooltip program_id='1035055' first='Northwest' last='Select'] 5-foot-11 [player_tooltip player_id='899491' first='Kaylee' last='Turner'] is a long and springy guard/forward who rebounds on defense, pushes the pace, and consistently gets downhill to finish at the rim or draw the foul on the take. She's efficient from the free throw line. The North Clackamas Christian rising junior (2027) brings the ball up and gets her team into its offense. Turner is calm under pressure, moves the ball well, makes the handoff to the shooter on the perimeter, and drives and dishes to the big on the block. She can launch from deep and is working on making the three ball more consistently. Turner has a long wingspan to protect the paint and the rim on defense. She tips passes and contests shots inside. Turner averaged 16 points per game and went 10-for-10 from the charity stripe in two games at the 1A state tournament.

The rising junior (2027) is strong on the drive and knocks down the catch-and-shoot three. Wilson is a role player who doesn't try to do too much. She has a next-level physicality and can attack the lane off the bounce. She moves well, doesn't shy away from contact, and will guard anybody without backing down. Wilson is said to be a phenomenal teammate with high emotional intelligence. She also plays soccer at Grant.

Central Oregon Force 5-foot-8 combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1229061' first='Kourtney' last='Samek'] is driven and she's putting in the work to develop her game on both ends. Her shot has improved tremendously. She's developing into a facilitator who gets the ball moving and gets her team into its offense. And she's testing her quickness against different levels of offense. The rising junior (2027) is the most improved returning player for the Force, according to a source. Samek is a team player, coachable, and tough physically and mentally. She could play a bigger role at Stayton next season.
