There is a lot to like about [player_tooltip player_id='874663' first='Destinie' last='Roe'] of CHE 2029. [program_tooltip program_id='712446' first='Chicago' last='Hoops Express'] is known for having some ballers with great attitudes and [player_tooltip player_id='874663' first='Destinie' last='Roe'] is in that same conversation. When I saw Roe this weekend, she was really working near the basket on both ends of the floor but from seeing her more and more, she is versatile with how well she moves off the ball. She can post up smaller defenders and use her power or she can step out and make things happen from the perimeter. At times this CHE team will even stick Roe at the top of their defensive pressure because of her mixture of natural instincts, athletic ability, and willingness to go for tips/steals in crucial moments. She may be a young prospect in the game but Roe is definitely a name to know.

Savannah Smith of Southeast Dynasty 2029 was productive this weekend in Chicago. Smith, a 5'8 PF, understands where she makes her money. She isn't someone to settle for bad attempts instead she switched it up and keeps the defense guessing. She can attack the bucket and use her size near the blocks or she can step out and work off of her dribble/screening action on the outside. When scouting younger groups, somethings stick out like size and natural ability at this point. Smith has an ample amount of both of those from my observation.

I've watched [program_tooltip program_id='715444' first='EBA' last='Ice'] for years now and they are definitely one of the good programs out there that I love to stop by to see. Out of their 2030 Class, someone to keep an eye out for the Ice is [player_tooltip player_id='1223571' first='Caitlin' last='Augustyn']. Augustyn is one of those that has the height and coordination from a young age, that all coaches love to see. Not only that, she seems fairly intelligent when it comes to the X's and O's portion for the game. That combination is not one you always see and if you do, it's usually on a D1 type of prospect. I think the CA has the ability to take things a long way on the hardwood. She just needs to remember to keep her base, metaphorically and literally, while working on her weaknesses. She demonsrated this weekend that she is extremely versatile in whatever she puts her mind to. She can guard her position and wall up against bigger or she can lock in VS smaller opponents. It's whatever the coaching staff needs and that ability is going to jump out to future recruiters.

[player_tooltip player_id='1218269' first='Alyssa' last='Walker'] of Chicago Sky Academy 2029 put together a memorable weekend on the road. She was asked to be her team's inside presence per usual and she thrived at it. Her team happened to play against a few zones and she did a great job of consistently moving around. She never stood still and always was active in the lane, looking for a pass from a teammate on the outside so that she could convert it into a bucket. Walker also ran the floor really well in transition. She made some notable effort plays, all while communicating at a high rate. If you didn't tell me that Walker was playing up a grade level, I would have never known. She definitely seemed like she belongs.

#9 - [player_tooltip player_id='1227542' first='Raina' last='Sproat'] of Big3 14U is a hard working player that doesn't like to take no for an answer. After watching Sproat and company compete this weekend, you can tell that they are continue to get better as they year moves forward. The reason Sproat stood out of the past few days was because of her defense. She is extremely active. She moves effortlessly without the ball and really prides herself on beating her opponent to their intended spots. Something you don't see too often. Sproat is also a very active rebounder or boxer. She finds her opponent first, then she gets a body on them, then she goes for the rebound. We saw a lot of promising players this weekend was Sproat really stood out for her Big3 14U team.
