Rising Stars in Tennessee: 2029 High School Basketball Prospects

Sure, it's getting hotter outside and we know how those Tennessee summer days can go. As the calendar has rolled over into the month of June, our young ladies are hitting the hard wood with their high school teams. Team camps are going on everywhere, so kids are getting back associated with their school ball clubs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What June also represents is a new crop of young ladies that join the high school ranks. Over the next four years, we will have this 2029 class hoop among some of the best in the state. Don't get me wrong, it will take some a little bit to get their feet wet. However, it's an exciting time for those especially around here as there are even more girls to watch and cover. She can play inside and out, but it's her determination and work ethic that stands out amongst others. She is a fighter, a go-getter, someone who is going to compete on both ends of the floor every possession. She can score from multiple spots on the floor and contribute in other aspects of the game as well. She will be getting some valuable minutes in the CA rotation this upcoming season. She has ice in her veins as she is willing and able to shoot the rock with confidence. No matter where she is on the floor, she will let the ball fly. She can create and put the ball on the floor or spot up along the arc to finish. As she continues to work on her game, look for her to be a solid piece to the Lady Fighting Irish program. She is going to utilize her speed to create havoc on the basketball court. Doesn't matter if she is on offense or defense, you better believe this girl is flying around being a pest out there. She can score from multiple spots on the floor. What I like about her game is she isn't going to settle just for anything. She is going to go out and create something to her advantage. She might have seen something that she is willing to exploit and she's going to go after it. When you think of this young lady,think of a Jason Williams (old Sacramento Kings pg). She's not him, I'm not saying that, but I am saying she makes those passes, she dials it up from deep, and she will get to the rim with ease. She plays with a certain style. She's an entertainer who enjoys playing the game. She loves to compete and is willing to do whatever it takes to help her team win. This kid is still growing, and once everything is aligned, she's going to be tough. Someone who keeps growing in stature and in her game. She got valuable minutes as an 8th grader that ultimately led to a championship. Now that everyone knows what she is capable of, she becomes an even more focal point. But she has been in the lab getting better, getting ready to dominate the low-post area. This kid is a bucket in the paint and is solid in the screen game. Defensively, she is a beast, blocking shots, controlling the boards, and being physical with the opposition.
