Even though we are still several months out from when the 2025-26 season tips off, there is still plenty to cover regarding South Carolina's high school girls basketball season.

June is camp month following April and May when AAU play assumed the lion's share of attention. Then there is transfer news – and a number of the state's premier talents are seeing their recruitment reach its crescendo.

Without further ado, here is the latest as Prep Girls Hoops is always busy on the recruiting trail.

Hartwell has had herself a busy 2025 offseason as evidenced by her getting an invite to the USA Basketball 16U trials. A 2024-25 that saw Hartwell's Westside team advance to the 4A championship game has been followed by her garnering a litany of Division I interest. Louisville and Purdue have been among the schools that have offered the 6-foot-5 standout for the Rams. The FBC United product put up career numbers in 2024-25, averaging a double-double of 15.2 points and 10.5 rebounds plus 2.5 blocks per contest last season and it is a safe assumption that she will only be even more dangerous in her junior and senior seasons.

Evans, similar to Hartwell, is also garnering her fair share of Division I interest. The difference between her and the Westside standout is Evans is entering her freshman season with 5A Division I Byrnes. At the end of May, Evans added an offer from Auburn to go alongside her existing offers from Cincinnati and George Mason. She debuted last season with the Rebels as an eighth grader and put up numbers signifying that she was next line. Evans averaged 14 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.4 steals for a Byrnes team that finished 19-9 last season. She played in 26 games last season and displayed she is simply getting started.

There is a long distance to get from Rock Hill to Milwaukee, but Wisconsin's largest city is the site of McMurray's latest offer as it was revealed that Mount Mary and coach Joshua Steffen has her on its radar. A product of the One Force AAU program, she was also part of a Legion Collegiate team that posted a stellar record of 22-13 in 2024-25. McMurray is a combo guard that can get from one end of the court to the other in a quick amount of time and knows how to create her own shot. In many ways, her defense can create her offense and accuracy from long range is also part of her offensive repertoire.

Haroski is continuing her stellar play on the grassroots circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='715412' first='SC' last='Eagles'] UA Rise 16U – one of the teams that was part of this year's Prep Girls Hoops Circuit. Haroski recently landed offers from Wheaton in Illinois and Sewanee in Tennessee. She is one of the premier guards in the Palmetto State in large part because of her passing, ball handling and 3-point shooting. Leading a team to a state championship – as was the case for Haroski when Riverside defeated A.C. Flora in the 4A state game two seasons ago – will certainly do wonders for one's recruitment. Haroski is more than poised to finish her high school career this coming season with a flourish.

We mentioned one 6-foot-5 Upstate big earlier in this piece and now turn our attention to another. Towards the end of May, the standout enter of 5A Division 1 Dorman landed an offer from Gardner-Webb. White already had interest from Presbyterian and UNC-Wilmington. It does not matter what is thrown in her direction – White is certain to corral the rock then gets to work in the interior. She also understands the art of rebounding and those are attributes that contributed to another solid Cavaliers season in 2024-25. The 18.2 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per contest she averaged helped as well.

Mungo already has a pair of state championships under her belt with Camden when it was a 3A school. The Bulldogs are now in the 4A ranks, but Mungo is no stranger to receiving Division I looks. The most recent one she announced occurred at the conclusion of May when she was re-offered by Presbyterian. Mungo was first offered by the Blue Hose two years ago when Alaura Sharp (now Appalachian State's head coach) was at the helm at Presby. Mungo has played at the varsity level since she was in the eighth grade and averaged 15.1 points, five steals and 4.8 assists last season at Camden.
