The 2025 version of the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit saw the return of the southeastern-based Triumph Region which included one event in Alabama (Roll Tide Rumble) and two in Georgia (Peach Games, Triumph Region Finals).

And while the bulk of teams that participated on this year's Circuit did hail from Alabama and Georgia, that did not mean South Carolina was absent from the Circuit chat in any way.

There were a number of Palmetto State prospects that successfully raised their profiles by participating in this Circuit events. Without further ado, we acknowledge those South Carolina notables who impressed at this year's three Triumph Region events.

A few days ago, Haroski announced that she had received her first collegiate offer from Wheaton in the Chicago area. One would think that with the statewide profile Haroski has built it will not be the last time this multi-talented guard from 5A Riverside will get a collegiate look. Her ball handling skills, on-court leadership, 3-point shooting prowess and passing ability are well-documented and are all reasons why she is one of the state's premier guards. Haroski's resume also includes that 2024 state championship she won with the Warriors as a 4A school. The star rising senior is more than poised to bring her high school career to a close with an exclamation point.

The same applies to Anderson, another one of the marquee players from the Palmetto State's class of 2026. A product of 5A Division 1 Lexington, Anderson was a massive reason why the Wildcats finished 18-6 this past season – including going a robust 13-1 on its home floor. Anderson has no problems playing with her back to the basket and when she gets to work in the low post, she is especially difficult to contain. She also understands that playing in the paint means getting physical and drawing contact which can place her at the free throw line. Can one say height advantage? Anderson stands at 6-foot-1 and her career included a stint at White Knoll. It also included an AAU stint at iDreams.

Anyone who has seen Adams play over the years can certainly come to the conclusion that while she may be a 2028 she is more than worthy of testing her skills against more experienced competition. It is one thing to be a one or a two guard – it is entirely another to be a one or a two who stands at 5-foot-10. Add in her proficient ability to drain her attempts from 3-point range and Adams is particularly difficult to game plan against. She seamlessly fuses together long-range shooting abilities with ball handling skills. St. Joseph's Catholic was a 3A Upper State finalist last season in large part because it is one of the premier 3-point shooting teams in the state and one can expect that to continue in the 2025-26 season.

With 4A Greer, the Yellow Jackets graduated three seniors from its 2024-25 version – including its star point guard. One can certainly expect that Moore will assume a role as one of the featured players for Greer over the next couple of seasons. Moore plays more at the four while standing at 5-foot-8 and also understands that playing in the frontcourt will mean drawing contact to find her way to the free throw line. Part of this also has to do with Moore playing either at the four or as a traditional five. Moore plays with her back to the basket and is very confident in her playmaking abilities. Her career included a stint at Travelers Rest.

A bit of time on the AAU circuit certainly was a help to this name from 5A Division I Byrnes and she is sure continue to build a profile for herself given she plays for one of the premier 5A teams in the state. Dukes typically operates in the backcourt as a two guard and especially excels on defense. She plays with a heads-up mentality which will enable her to take advantage of an opposing team's miscues. Dukes also has superb ball handling skills and the speed she has when possessing the rock can be massively useful when making plays in the transition game.

From one Cherish to another as we shift our focus from [program_tooltip program_id='715412' first='SC' last='Eagles'] UA Rise standouts to those from Team Unleashed South Carolina. Kinard previously played at one 5A school in Lugoff-Elgin and has brought her talents to another 5A campus in Ridge View – a team now coached by 4A Lower Richland's former coach in Aaron Lucas. The two guard can display an ability to put points on the board from all three levels. The positive elements to Kinard's game also include passing ability and making transition plays. Ridge View has been one of the state's premier 5A teams the past few seasons and one can expect 2025-26 to be no different.

Speaking of Blazers notables, Gilford is another that will be a signature name the next few years at Ridge View. Another product of Team Unleashed South Carolina, Gilford proved that she can hold her own against tough teams. She displayed that even if she gets out to a slow start, she can make up for it in a second half to put together an overall productive outing for her team. Fearlessness is something coaches look for in young players and Gilford displays plenty of it as she does not shy away from contact that can give her opportunities at the free throw line.

We wrap things up here with a product of [program_tooltip program_id='715010' first='1SC' last='Elite'] 14U. Playing in the 2029 field, Watson looks to be part of a formula that could turn things around at 3A Palmetto. With her ability to read an opposing team's offensive plays and respond to said plays, Watson is a lot to game plan for on defense. A knack for attacking the basket and finishing strong at the rim is also part of her overall game. Watson is developing leadership skills at that young age – a trait not always seen in players at her experience level. Add in transition playmaking ability and a high basketball IQ and Watson is poised to grow her profile as she gains more experience playing in the high school and AAU ranks.
