She is an excellent passer with a high basketball IQ and brings relentless pressure as a perimeter defender. She is a high-percentage three-point shooter who plays with great pace and composure. She has the versatility to handle the ball or play off it, and consistently makes the right read. She is a proven threat from beyond the arc and has the ability to create offense in multiple ways. Kimaya Heard (6'1/C/'26/Daphne)   IG: kimayaheard   Kimaya is a physical presence in the post who alters shots and controls space on both ends of the floor. Her size and length create matchup problems, and she is continuing to grow into a dominant interior role.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   The Lady Trojans' Identity & Summer Focus   Coach Perry has established a culture where her team's identity starts with team-first mentality and personal accountability. She empowers each player to contribute meaningfully on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. Coach Perry and her coaching staff take pride in developing true student-athletes who understand the value of hard work, sacrifice, and unity.   On the court Coach Perry wants her team to push the pace and control tempo. Defensively, she wants her girls to apply pressure in both the full and half court, forcing opponents to match their energy and effort on every possession.   This summer, Coach Perry wants her team's focus to be on continuity and chemistry. With a core group of experienced players who have been together for years, they are looking at building on their momentum from last season and preparing to compete with the elite programs across Alabama.
